Sunset Shimmer and her fellow Rainbooms are almost ready to graduate from Canterlot High and move on to the next chapter of their lives. And Sunset's life couldn't be better.

However, just days before graduation, Sunset is called to a meeting where she meets the superintendent of Canterlot High, Neighsay. And the superintendent reveals that he's been keeping tabs on Equestrian Magic.

With graduation lurking over the horizon, Sunset must face the fact that Equestrian magic and her involvement with it can't stay secret for much longer. Now shes faces a dilemma as she must decide not only how to break the news to her friends, but what she'll do when her actions can't stay hidden from the public.

The global dust storm of a century, the dying message of an indomitable robot, and a unicorn who just can’t let go of a mystery.

With Teridax's Plan presumably failed and one of their member fallen, the Makuta fear rescue may never arrive. So when presented with a chance to escape their fate they take it. Now they find themselves in a new land, with new rulers and no knowledge of them.

Faced with the six children of Shadow, the Royal Sisters find themselves with a decision to make, and, puzzled by incomplete tales of a world locked in an eternal war between Light and Dark, not much time to make it.

Starlight Glimmer, reformed villain and pupil to the Princess of Friendship, one of the most powerful magic users in all of Equestria, needs a change of pace. Twilight is a great teacher but after many a magic duel the two have less and less to teach each other magically. Sunset Shimmer on the other hand is very much ready to have a go at this new pupil.

Discord, the Spirit of Chaos, has been defeated, trapped in stone by the Elements of Harmony. The two newly crowned princesses, Luna and Celestia, scout his palace and find a vault full of treasures and wonder.

While journeying between dimensions to try and warn the Toa Nuva of possible doom, Takanuva, the Toa that controls both light and shadow, finds himself in a world of purely organic and powerful beings known as ponies. Now he must find a way to leave this universe and continue toward Karda Nui. But there's something else in Equestria that shouldn't be, and a Toa may be just what is needed.

Takes place after Takanuva's Journey, The Kingdom, and Dark Mirror, but before The Final Battle.
The story takes a lot from the Bionicle storyline, particularly that of 2008. If anything confuses you, I recommend the amazing resource of biosector01.com.

After an accident with the Kanohi Olmak, Takanuva finds himself stranded in a new dimension and stuck in a new form. With no way to get home to his own universe, he has resigned himself to living out a peaceful existence in his new home, but his past will soon catch up to him in a way that could be disastrous for not just his world, but for all of them.

Before they could complete their mission, and rescue the last of the Matoran, the Toa once again attempted to vanquish their old foe, the Makuta, after he escaped from his prison. Instead of standing, the Makuta fled, prompting the Toa to follow, and step into a world unlike any they had ever seen before.

Set after the Web of Shadows, but before the Mask of light.
