Four years ago Vinyl and Octavia broke up. It was messy, painful and left scars on both of them. Four years on, now one of the most successful DJs in Equestria’s history, Vinyl receives news that Octavia has been in a terrible accident. The doctors say she may never recover from her coma, but Vinyl refuses to believe them. There are all sorts of stories about coma patients who are brought back by the voice of someone they care about, right? No matter what anypony else says, offers or threatens, and no matter what it costs her personally or professionally, she is determined to stay by Octavia’s side and do all she can to wake her.

But four years is a long time, and no matter how many fairytales end with the princess waking up, real life owes no-one a happy ending.

Vinyl Scratch hates school with a burning passion. The education system was one of the reasons she left and became a DJ in the first place. Now, there's one tiny little reason that makes her end up back in school, and she's just going to have to put up with it.

LaserPon3 gets recruited by Tombstone to impress Prince Delachord in a contest to see who gets to touch his butt. Meanwhile, Yaplap, a mysterious mare, and others attempt to stop them or try and aid them on their race to the butt of perfection.

Rainbow Dash discovers the magic of shipping while her relationship with the princess takes a new twist... one that may involve a lot of duct tape.

This story is a sequel to Fire & Rain

To say that the Wonderbolt's last trip to Manehatten was eventful would be an understatement. Spitfire broke her wing, met Rainbow Dash, dated Rainbow Dash, and a planned thunderstorm went out of control landing many ponies in the hospital. Now with Spitfire getting "promoted" to command of the Wonderbolt's Academy and Rainbow Dash on the mend from her own injuries, the two will learn just how much life can still throw at them.

Meanwhile, Soarin and Rapidfire must come to grips with their new roles as leaders of the Wonderbolts. Soarin doesn't know if he's up to the task, and Rapidfire doesn't know if he even wants to stay. All these trials and more await them further on up the road...

Octavia Melody hid this for years. She is a demon-succubus born in Tartarus and sent to Equestria after her father saw that she was not bad enough, and sending her to Equestria, her father thought she would be a real demon and practice her succubus skills. He was wrong. After many years she maintains a normal life, hiding her identity from everyone, including Vinyl Scratch, her girlfriend. Everything was perfect, till her father, the Lord of all demons, and her mother, the Queen of succubi, makes a visit to the “world above”. She only knows one thing about it: She’s screwed.
