Princess Twilight Sparkle is the latest addition to the Equestrian Royalty, and as such she needs a Guard, like Celestia's Daylight Patrol and Luna's Night Troops. Of course, that would usually mean that she'd have to gather them among ponies... but an observation from a visiting friend leads her to change this concept.
Is this a good idea, or she's going towards her usual shenanigans?

Baking cakes is part of being Ponyville's Premiere Party Planner. It's a particularly important job when the cake is for frowny ponies, or the sort of folks who don't normally eat cake.

But it's something that Twilight Sparkle doesn't seem to understand. At least, if she understood, she probably wouldn't barge into Sugarcube Corner early in the morning, screaming about Changelings invading Equestria and covert smuggling rings and blah blah blah.

It wouldn't kill Twilight to show some decorum. She clearly needs to get her priorities in order.

Queen Chrysalis is a very busy monarch.

Not only is she going to expand her Hive's possibilities by signing a Cultural Exchange Treaty with Equestria, but she's also working on a duplicating spell that will allow her to create a perfect assistant for herself - which is, by the way, strictly forbidden and frowned upon by the Equestrians and in several other, supposedly civilized nations. So it's for the best that they wouldn't find out, right?

And just when you thought that Twilight Sparkle is the only magic user capable of casting a spell which 'accidentally' turns your world upside down... Chrysalis is there to prove that she is no worse.
