Twilight Sparkle is lonely and is determined to change that.

She’s had her eyes on Rainbow Dash for a while, but she doesn’t know how to truly express her feelings. No books were able to properly explain how to cope with her feelings of love, leaving her frustrated and confused. She has tried dropping subtle hints here and there, but Rainbow is oblivious to her advances and Twilight is too nervous to spill her heart out to her.

So she waits, spending many months devising a way to get Rainbow to see her more than just a good friend. Given a set of perfect circumstances, Twilight is finally able to put her plan into action. Now, Twilight might finally be able to see if she can turn her friendship with Rainbow into something wonderful.

Applejack has had a crush on Rarity for awhile, but she is unsure that the white unicorn shares her feelings, or if she even likes mares. The usually honest farm mare finds herself lacking something she'd never have expected: Courage.

Perhaps the courage of her other friends can help her to work up her own, or will she watch helplessly as Rarity ignores her forever?

You may notice, that the Golden Oaks Library makes an appearance. This is because we know next to nothing about the Friendship Rainbow Kingdom Castle, I will not write about it until Season 5 comes out and we learn how it looks on the inside other than the throne room, or if Twilight will even live there full time. You can assume this story takes place before "Twilight's Kingdom".

I know "how they got together" fics are overdone. But as I always say "If it's over done, it's probably good."

When Rainbow Dash suddenly proclaims her love and adoration for a certain 'Miss Sparkle' and tells her friends the story of how the unicorn 'fixed' her, the girls are hesitant to take the situation at face value. However, even they can't deny it when the facts begin to build into a case against Twilight. Twilight claims innocence but her words sound like hollow excuses and obvious lies. The four of them are left wondering if Twilight Sparkle is truly the hero she once was or if she has finally allowed her true nature to show: the nature of a heartless psychopath.

[ Spoilers in the comments... So many spoilers... ]

[ 'Miss Sparkle' occurs a few months before Twilight's ascension, early in the spring of Twilight's second year in Ponyville. According to my version of the chronological timeline, the only episodes of the first three seasons that have yet to take place are (in chronological order) "Wonderbolts Academy", "Just for Sidekicks", "Games Ponies Play", "Spike At Your Service", "Keep Calm and Flutter On" and "Magical Mystery Cure". ]

However, when Lyra's friend slips up and tells Pinkie that it's their anniversary, Pinkie thinks she means "Best Friends Anniversary" and decides to throw a... PARTY!

Just a little short story about Octavia and Vinyl Scratch practicing their respective instruments… in the same room. Which, for anypony who knows them, obviously will lead to… problems.

The name also has a double meaning because I’m practicing. Practicing writing that is.
