Discord has lived for quite a long time. Centuries as a ruler, a millennium as a rock, years as a reformed draconequus, it all gets very tiring. A nap is exactly what he needs. But when you live forever, time loses its meaning, years pass in the blink of an eye, mortals come and go like mayflies. And that's fine.
After all, any being that is truly important will live forever. Discord would never associate with anything less.

Pinkie Pie struggles to keep sane, knowing she will outlive everypony on Equestria, but how can she when her one true friend has stopped seeing her? The Doctor was the only pony who understood, but she had to go and screw things up.

This is the sequel to Every Game Must End, which was originally just a one-shot.Although you can read this one first, it won't make any sense. :I

Shining Armor awakens one night to find a baby pony/changeling on his doorstep. A baby that is apparently his as well as Chrysalis's. Can he keep Cadance in the dark? Can Twilight help him? Is the queen changeling herself going to make an appearance? How many OCs will there be? Will everypony be in character? Who will cameo? And most importantly, was he technically cheating?

After Winona has a run in with a skunk, Applejack does the natural thing and takes her to Fluttershy to be cleaned up. However, while taking care of the poor collie, Fluttershy realizes something; she doesn't know how Applejack got Winona in the first place. Curiosity gets the best of the timid pegasus and she asks. What she discovers not only reveals a lot about the little dog, but about Applejack as well.

Now curious as to what her other friend's pets mean to them, Fluttershy wonders about how Pinkie Pie and Rarity got their perfect companions as well.
