Is it ever worth anything to do in life? Chris thinks over this and gets completely heart-broken and sad about how no one will ever be able to help him out of his shell.

Till he met a pony who cared. Who cared enough to tell him that life IS worth it. Hopefully.

Since people are being put off by the title, I'll say it here. The title is not directly related to the fic's contents. Don't be expecting a story about someone dying. It's metaphorical, not literal.

Shining Armor decides he is Twilight Sparkle.

A changeling gets a very risky and clever idea.
Pretending to be an advanced magic doll left as an anonymous gift in front of Twilight Sparkle's home.
It's so audaciously stupid there is no way it's not going to work.

Wanting to know how to run her castle more sufficiently Twilight decides to visit Canterlot Castle and asked Celestia on the matter. However, she finds Celestia in a very dire state. What can she do lift her from this stupor, even when she herself is panicked? Why she needs a beverage of course.

It isn't often that things go well for Derpy. Between her eyes, her clumsiness, and her propensity for disaster, it's hard enough just to make friends. Add to that a revolving door of jobs and a daughter to raise, it's a miracle that she has much time for herself at all. So when her date stands her up at a loud, flashy club, it hurts.

Maybe she should just give up. Or, maybe she just needs the kindness of a strange bartender in purple shades.

Luna, still a bit unhappy at Celestia for banishing her to the moon for a thousand years, wants to have a small, tiny taste of vengeance. To be exact, she wants to send Celestia to the Sun.

So what is Luna going to do first?

Ask Celestia for permission, of course. Complications eventually occur.
