But will Twilight allow herself to be a normal young mare, or will she only follow her dream of becoming a scholar?

It's anything but a traditional story when Vinyl Scratch meets Octavia and falls in love with the colt-loving grey mare. The Mane Six will find themselves everywhere from Equestria's capital, to the home of the sea ponies, to a battle on the ocean for the fate of the world - all in this long adventure with more innuendo than you can shake your plot at. Princess Luna must go on a diplomatic mission to the isolated city of Marem, and is tasked with choosing a suitable traveling partner to accompany her on the way. She does not choose the talented and magically-inclined Twilight Sparkle, nor the quick and loyal Rainbow Dash, nor even the strong and talented Applejack. Instead, she surprises everypony by taking Pinkie Pie with her and leaving without a word. Not even Celestia can guess the reasoning behind her sister's choice.

For whatever reason, Princess Luna and Pinkie Pie set off to find and negotiate an agreement with the mysterious community of unicorns located beyond the borders of Equestria. What they find there will impact not only Equestria's stance on foreign policy, but the very lives of the two ponies at the center of it all.

However, both are harboring secret feelings towards the other that just refuse to be known. What will come of this and, worse, their unexpected fate?

Rainbow Dash is determined to uncover the masked mare's true identity before she's humiliated yet again, but this time around, the vigilante seems especially interested in her as well. Will Rainbow Dash be able to solve the mystery before the culprit takes the hoax too far? Or is she in danger of losing not only her mind, but her heart?

The arrival of a traveling magician seems to be marked by some strange occurrences in Ponyville. As these events start to strain the friendships of each pony that holds an Element of Harmony, two ponies start to come closer and closer together.

Only with friends can Twilight find the strength to stop Nightmare Moon.
