Takes place in the Lunaverse, season 2, during the Winter arc. There really do need to be an option for six tags, but until then, an additional tag for Cheerilee.

This has a sister-story named Six Best Friends Play Diplomacy, which features the Mane six instead. It isn't going to be the same story with swapped names; each group has different personalities so both games will be very different. I just couldn't decide which group of six would be more interesting, so I wrote both. I must hate free time...

Unfortunately, this particular game might prove to be more of a challenge to the Elements of Harmony than anything they've faced before. For you see, in Diplomacy, the number one rule is: Never play this game with friends, or you may need to find new friends...

And featured 1/29/15.... ten minutes after I updated with a new chapter....... Why don't I update this story very often again? Gonna have to fix that...

Spike has long been confused about his past. He remembers a father and sister that no one else does, ones that don't fully make sense. He remembers the demon that killed him...but then he was not dead. He can't remember what happened next.

Now, what begins as a journey to help his oldest friend clear his name turns into an epic quest to save the world. As he journeys, he will discover the truth about himself, his past, and the world around him. New friends will aid him, and an ancient power will awaken. A great evil stirs deep beneath the surface, and it is his destiny to face it. But he will not face it alone.

Crossover with Breath of Fire 2. An idea I had that seemed to fit, and the BoF 2 characters matched up better then BoF 1.

Twilight is doing an experiment, Spike is doing his chores. Everything is perfectly normal and completely fine in the Golden Oak Library...until Chrysalis drops in for a 'visit'.

Being the subject of a great and powerful destiny isn't all it's cracked up to be.

If anything, it's annoying. And extremely painful.

After awakening to his fate as the purple one, Spike is immediately tasked with preventing the world from falling into the clutches of a being known only as the Shadow Sage; who, after being imprisoned in the distant past, is more than ready to make his grand return.

And what better way to commemorate the event than razing the entire world?

Now, Spike must find the four Guardian Dragons and receive instruction in each of the elements of Fire, Lightning, Ice, and Earth. Mastering all four is the only chance he has of sealing away the malevolent evils to restore order and harmony.

One minor problem: the Guardians are long gone, having faded from history at the time of the Shadow Sage's previous sealing. In addition, his forces have kidnapped the members of the Mane Six for unknown purposes, and now they must be rescued before it is too late.

"Remind me again why the fate of the world is resting on my shoulders?"

After reading Spike’s journal, Twilight discovers that she might not be valued as a friend by the young dragon as she hopes to be.

So following a series of hilarious attempts of Twilight desperately trying to show Spike how she really values him will no doubt entertain you! By the way, this is not a Twispike story or a shipping story of any kind. This is purely a fic about friendship. Enjoy!

Spike was filled with doubts, confusion and fear on where he fitted in the world. It scared him to think that he was nothing to his friends, to Twilight. After finding out the hard truth in an argument, he realises that this bond he shared with them was nothing but a mere illusion, a painful lie that shattered him completely. Becoming lost in his own misery, he runs away only to be taken by an offer.

A few months pass and struggling to manage, Twilight comes to terms with her mistakes and the search for Spike dies down. Seeking vengeance, past threats are united through fear by a demented alchemist who wishes to twist and ruin Equestria with the power of terror.

In a desperate attempt to try and find Spike once more, Twilight and her friends must overcome their greatest fears.

A year has passed since the fall of Nightmare Moon, but Princess Luna is still hiding from the public. Celestia, tired of her sister's behaviour, sends her to Ponyville to help Twilight Sparkle and her friends with the plans for the Grand Galloping Gala. Little do they all know, the plan is for them to form bands and perform at the event!

Spike is always looking for ways to be helpful. So, when an opportunity to babysit Flurry Heart so Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armor can have a weekend together comes up, Spike is quick to take on the opportunity of responsibility.

Spike has bravely helped to save the Crystal Empire from King Sombra and melted a lethal ice cloud during The Equestrian Games. So watching over a baby Alicorn should be easy for the "Brave and Glorious" dragon, right?

She can swim far and wide across the waters of Equestria, but it's not enough. There are places above those waters, places she plans to reach. Where biology failed her, her mind would succeed. Equestria better be ready, because she plans to visit!
