What if Spike was never born into a lifestyle filled with ponies? What if he was raised as a dragon? What if he stumbles upon our favorite little bunch of ponies?

A sort of 'what if' story I thought up of. Let's just assume everything in the show went completely fine and according to story, except Spike wasn't there. Experimenting with first person fiction, be gentle. Tags added as they come. Also, the picture may not seem so, but he does have wings in the story. Just thought I would point that out.

Discord and his wife, Flutterbat own a hotel to for vacationing monsters and villians to keep every earth pony, unicorn, pegasus and alicorn out. But when the grand son of Princess Twilight Sparkle and his great aunty Pinkie Pie go adventuring and stumble into the hotel, what will happen and will things get worse when he falls in love with daughter of chaos?

Dysis, a young dragon, sees Spike during the dragon migration and wonders about him. Why does he live with ponies? Is he her age? Is he a student? Who is he? And why is she so fascinated by a dragon she hasn't even met?

Twilight is going to have another slumber party and each of the Mane 6 is invited. Rainbow Dash however, can't stand the usual events expected at such a party, so she invites Spike to help even things out. Will they both survive the night?

So said extraordinary musician Spike The Dragon when queried how he started the Moonlight Ensemble, a jazz orchestra like none other Equestria had ever seen.

Quite a lot of time has passed for the Mane Six, now everypony has got a life of their very own. Everypony except Spike. Forced by his circumstances, he's thrust into a night-time Ponyville he didn't know before and a certain gray mare will revive in him the passion for music. Relationships will be done and undone, as Princess Celestia seeks high and low for a show-stopping act at the Grand Galloping Gala.

Growing up with books, Spike has always been a fan of the critically acclaimed Daring Do series. But after finding himself stuck in one of the novels, Spike must find a way to survive in a foreign, daring land filled with mysteries and adventure. Back in Ponyville, Rainbow Dash finds familiarity in a draconian character from the newest Daring Do installment.

Through the simple act of bumping into somepony new, Spike will be shown just how far his music can take him. Healing old wounds, finding new friends, and possibly even rekindling an old fire.

Twilight needs to leave town for a mission from Princess Celestia, leaving Spike to watch the library while she's gone. Shortly after Twilight leaves, a certain rainbow maned pegasus come over to read the next Daring Do. But as Rainbow spends more time with the little dragon, she starts to have feeling for him. Meanwhile, Spike also has deep feeling for Rainbow. Can these two finally confess there love, or will they forever stay apart.

A sequel to Survival Heat. After Spike found out who his parent's are Celestia invited him to stay in Canterlot for a while, but since Ponyville is cured from the heat doesn't mean Canterlot is too.

P.S. Major spoilers from the previous story, so please read Survival Heat first or anything in this story wont make any sense.
