This story is a sequel to Sunset's Crowning Achievement

The last time Twilight saw Starlight Glimmer, she threatened to kill Rainbow Dash when she was just a filly and ruin Twilight's life by going back in time. Only, when she failed to find Starlight in the past and returned home, Equestria wasn't a ruined wasteland, Ponyville was a lot bigger than she remembered, and all these new ponies in the castle were talking about some big pony they call Empress.

Now, the idea of seeing someone argue who was the "best Princess" in Equestria was hardly a new thing. In fact, such talks had appeared in articles across Equestria for some years now. And every Princess knew what it meant when another one turned up. They'd read it, they'd have a debate amongst themselves over what was said, they'd maybe argue, and then they'd laugh over it afterwards. But today, they come across one such article that causes no argument. In fact, it genuinely surprises them.

The girls of Canterlot High come up with a rather unconventional plan to save Camp Everfree.

It is a plan that requires them to take off their clothes.

Everypony has something they wish that they could take back. A harsh word, a mistaken phrase, things of that nature.

For somepony as ancient as Celestia, there is one such event she can never take back. Nor does she wish to. Even though it meant being limited to what she could do to continue to safeguard her little ponies.

The cost was just too great.

Unable to sleep lately, Sunset is advised by her friends to go see the school counselor. Reluctant at first, Sunset gives in, and soon realizes a lot of things about herself, her friends, and her past.

After yet another threat from Equestria threatens the wellbeing of Canterlot High and its students, Principal Celestia invited Princess Twilight and Sunset Shimmer for a simple discussion on what to do.

Between a less-than-willful princess, a frustrated teenager, and the wizard that crashed said discussion, she will find herself wishing she had kept her mouth shut.

Ever since Rainbow Dash introduced Sunset to the human world’s version of the Daring Do series she has been an active member of the fan community. After spending countless hours in the Daring Do fansite’s Eris server, she’s made many friends, but there is only one that she feels a real connection with. The user who goes by the name “Gr0ss1y Incandescent”. Turns out this same User she’s been crushing happens to be her counterpart.

Princess Twilight Sparkle has recently returned from a diplomatic mission to Gryphonstone. While she has gone beyond the borders of Equestria many times in the past, this is her first official state visit as a princess.

As a way of celebrating her success Princess Celestia hosts a tea party, during which the other monarchs of Equestria share stories about diplomatic blunders. These include Cadance's bout with Saddle Arabian purity laws, Luna's near beheading, and Celestia's ordeal with limes.
