A/N: A couple things to note.

Firstly, this IS a Multi-Chapter story, and I'd appreciate any constructive criticism towards it. I want this to be the best it possibly can.

Secondly, I'm open to any ideas anyone may have with the direction of this story. your suggestion will be considered if appropriate.

Lastly, The tag may say sad, but if anything, the story will only be a little so. If you're turned off by sad fics, give it a chance at least before making judgement.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders set off on a mission in Everfree Forest, but an encounter with a wolf splits them up. Sweetie Belle seeks shelter in a mysterious mansion. Rarity's generosity leads her to sacrifice herself for her sister, but now she must confront the beast.

After an argument with Celestia, Luna heads to Ponyville to meet with the ponies that cleansed the evil from her. Celestia overreacts, worrying that Luna might be doing something much worse.

This is my first fanfic, so please comment me so that I can imrpove my work. It's because of you guys that writers become famous. It only got a teen rating because of the beginning, and even then its not that gruesome, but better safe then sorry! The tags might change as the story progresses, so keep your eyes peeled. AUTHORS NOTE: Be aware that the shipping in this story could be classified as light-shipping or friend-shipping. I left the shipping tag out initially, but since the relationships between the characters are a big part of the story I felt compelled to add it. Also, a new summary is in the works, one that best shows the reader what to expect in this crazy fanfic.
