Tonight, on a very special episode of My Little Pony…

Spike may have finally found someone who can reveal the identity of his parents. But when that someone is Discord, has our little dragon bitten off more than he can chew?

~-Spike jumped up from the couch in excitement. "Then you've actually met them!?"

Somehow, Discord's grin managed to stretch even wider. "Ohhhhhh yes. In fact, I've known your father since the day we were born! And your mother… well let's just say she and I are intimately acquainted…"-~

Takes place during "A Canterlot Wedding", When things are getting ready for the wedding, Spike starts to recall when Princess Cadance helped Twilight take care of him all those years back.

Twilight is going to have another slumber party and each of the Mane 6 is invited. Rainbow Dash however, can't stand the usual events expected at such a party, so she invites Spike to help even things out. Will they both survive the night?

Spike, as we all know, loves Rarity; but heartbreak ensues after her latest return from a small town on the outskirts of Equestria. With both a shattered dream and heart in hand, Spike finds himself at the local bar; questioning everything he did. (Inspired by the Dave Matthews Band song Grace is Gone. Will be a first person perspective. Spike is of legal drinking age (18))

When Spike challenges Rainbow Dash to a race, the winner of which must do something for the loser, she gleefully accepts. To her dismay she loses — but rather than make her do something embarrassing like she was expecting him to, all Spike wants is for Dash to treat him to dinner.

As the night wears on, Spike drops a few hints about his true feelings — which Dash fails to pick up on. Can she realise the truth, or is it too late?

Spike has been away on royal business for about a month. Pinkie, Twilight and the rest of the gang are planning a big party for him when he returns. Things seem to be going smoothly until certain happenings lead Spike to question the way other ponies see him, specifically one purple-maned unicorn, and a turn of events results in them seeing a part of Spike none of them-including him-knew existed. It seems they didn't know as much about Spike as they think they did...

Chapter 15 is up!

Twilight Sparkle, accompanied by one Eshkhan "Spike" Vishap, is sent to the quaint town of Ponyville to oversee the Summer Sun Celebration and "make some friends." Twilight, however, is worried about the possible reawakening of the dreaded Nightmare Moon and finds herself frustrated at her inability to complete he study of the subject. Things take a turn for the worse when Nightmare herself shows up for the party.

Written as a test of my literary skills and to test out an idea that's been niggling at the back of my mind.

Some would say that marriage should only be between two that love each other, but what if you feel anything but love for the one you are to be wed with? That you are only doing it not just for your country but for your mother. Join Spike as he replays in his mind how he is about to go from Princess Twilight's assistant, to a married drake and king of a whole race.
