Equestria is full of magic. It practically runs the world. Ponies use it to control the weather, light their homes, build cloud cities, and even raise the sun. But what would happen if one day magic ceased to exist? What would happen to society as we know it? What would happen if that were to occur today?

Spike finds himself in the middle of nowhere, and with no way of getting back home. For a journey this big its gonna take two, and Spike forges an unsteady partnership with a unlikely pony.

Embarked on a dangerous journey to reach his home Spike is gonna have to keep an ace up his sleeve, call some bluffs, and hope his companion hasn't stacked the deck in her favor. Tempers flare, teeth will be grit, and things will never be the same. Enough napping young dragon, it's your turn for an adventure.

After leaving on a second pilgrimage to find himself, Spike returns to Ponyville, physically larger and sporting an impressive array of skills and powers.

His plans for a calm life in Ponyville, however, takes a different path as he soon finds himself the desire of several ponies interests, friends old and new included.

Change breeds benefits, as the saying goes. Spike has yet to hear it ring true.

Following the events of Owl's Well That Ends Well, Spike runs further then he intended and finds himself lost in the depths of the Everfree. A mysterious assailant was to blame, and now he finds himself in a place far from home. A place known only as the wasteland... But Spike finds himself under the care of a stranger and his band of travelers known as the Misfits. This unique gathering of strangers are on their way to a place called the Capital Wasteland in search of their own answers and drag Spike along.

Will Spike ever return home? And will he ever see Twilight and his friends ever again? Only time will tell as Spike travels the wasteland. A wasteland he now must call home.
