When a foreign country far to the east, long since isolated from the rest of the world, reaches out to Equestria with a desperate plea for help, It’s up to Twilight and friends to save the day.
Yet things will be far from simple. They will find themselves thrust into a strange new land under siege by a terrible foe, pitting them in a race against time to stop a titanic force of nature before it crushes them all in its relentless path of destruction.

For centuries the seas of Equis have been plagued by pirates. None more fearsome than the Crew of Eternal Night. For years ships sail in fear of Eternal Night and her captain, Nightmare Moon. Princess Twilight Sparkle, tired of being overlooked in favor of her older Sister Cadence, joins the crew of the Harmony under the guise of a unicorn named Velvet Light. She is soon introduced to the ship's crew and discovers that they are on a mission from Princess Celestia herself. A mission to hunt down and capture Nightmare Moon.

Anthea has seen the world as blobs of color for her entire life. Somepony offers her the chance of a lifetime, true sight. What is the price of this gift, and will the pain of losing the sight be worth the temporary delight in having it?

The Spears of Chaos are a terrorist group who had relished in Discord's chaotic reign over Equestria, and practically worshiped the God of Chaos. But when they learn that Discord is no longer evil, they are disgusted beyond belief. Seeing that Discord is no longer fit to hold the title of God of Chaos, they release their new idol from her stone prison in Canterlot to aid them in plunging Equestria into eternal anarchy. After all, who better fit the bill than Screwball, who happened to be Discord's spawn.

Now, as the Goddess of Chaos, Screwball intends to fill Equestria up to it's knees in randomness. But without the Elements of Harmony to stop her, how will the Mane Six stop the little abomination? More importantly, will Discord have to intervene?

Discord has a problem. He has a tendency to not think through his actions all that well, poor impulse control, and no ability to figure out how others will feel about what he does. Even with a friend helping him, sooner or later he's going to do something that'll get him stoned or hit with a reforming spell or whatnot. So what's he to do? Ask the smartest pony in Equestria for a solution, of course!

He probably wasn't expecting to get "Have Celestia let you rule Equestria again" for a response.

No one else was probably expecting to enjoy it.
