Magic pervades the land of Equestria, aiding it’s inhabitants. Pegasus ponies are able to soar the skies with great speeds, moving the clouds and controlling the weather. Earth Ponies are more down to earth, having a natural connection to the land, making them the green hooves of the world with an enhanced strength capacity. Unicorns have direct control of the magic pervading Equestria, and it channels through their horns, making them better organized and able to do bigger tasks. Alicorns, who have the abilities of all three races, and use them to their fullest ability. No other species have ever been affected by this magic however, so only the pony races are affected, making many other species jealous of the ponies magic.

Everypony knows this, along with every other species on the planet. But what happens when a member of a brand new species comes to Equestria, and is also affected by this field. This new species isn’t affected like the Pegasi, Earth Ponies, the Unicorns, or even the Alicorns. This new species has survived for 200,000 years, using their greatest talent…

Twilight Sparkle has spent months researching chaos magic, developing a new spell to unlock magic nopony has ever experienced before. But when something goes wrong with casting, Twilight finds herself turned into a Draconequus and unable to control her new chaos magic. If she ever wants to be a pony again, there is only one who can help her learn to control her new magic.

Of course, learning from Discord was never going to be simple. And after a while, being a draconequus doesn't seem so bad anyway....

Everypony enjoys myths and ponytales, even if they know such things aren't real. Alicorns fighting against a spirit of chaos? After yet another failed attempt at getting their cutie marks, the Cutie Mark Crusaders decide it might be time to change their approach. The arrival of Discord seems to be the perfect opportunity to put their new plan into action. But they quickly learn that even a small favor from Discord can yield some very unexpected results. They'll need all the help they can get to fix this mess.

Sounds like just another day for the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

This story takes place between the events of "Princess Twilight Sparkle" and "Twilight Time".

When dispelling a color changing enchantment, Rarity discovers that one of her mannequins is a little more than it seems.

The ‘Mannequin of Carousel Boutique’ revolves around the events of a changeling who managed to survive by impersonating a ‘ponyquin’ (mannequin in the story) at the home of the fabulous Rarity Belle.

Story is level 4 Anthro where ponies are bipedal with various human qualities, but still have horns, wings, pony ears, muzzles and hooves.

In the magical land of Equestria, two alicorn sisters raise the Sun and the Moon every day to give the world a night and day cycle, basic for the survival of life. There are also two alicorns who rule over two very core aspects of life and harmony itself. Those are Love and Friendship. While not as ancient as the two sisters, all princesses are essential to the world's balance.
This balance is also sustained by the hard-working ponies, who make the seasons change and manage the weather to fit their needs, so everypony has enough food and water, and every animal is also attended to assure that any of them are caught in the changes of seasons.

But what about the planet itself? What about Mother Nature?
This is the question that Gaia asks when she arrives to this foreign world. After so much work her son persuaded her to take a long vacation in Equestria, saying that she needed one and assuring her that he would be in charge now, and she must take a break. But what can a several billion-year old alicorn possibly do to pass her time in this land?

Lyra Heartstrings is a particularly lonely mare. Save for her best friend Bon Bon, Lyra doesn't really have many ponies that she talks to during the day. She maintains a relatively quiet lifestyle, but she doesn't really mind, or at least that's what she tells herself.

One evening, Lyra impulsively buys a neat looking decorative glass ball from a pawn shop. She is overjoyed at the find, until strange things start happening.

Every night, when she looks into the ball, she meets some kind of... thing... from a different world called Earth. These beings also appear to have found some kind of glass ball, just like Lyra.

Every night, the ball connects with a different person.

And they all have different stories to tell. Suddenly, Lyra isn't so lonely anymore, until the ball begins to take its toll on her.

This is the story of the end. This is the story of the death of Equestria. It is the story of the reign of her royal majesty, Princess Twilight Sparkle of the Fading Sun.

The alicorn sisters are dead and Equestria has turned to Twilight Sparkle to guide it. However, just maintaining a dim sun a fraction as bright as her mentor's keeps the new princess near her limits.

Years have passed and Twilight Sparkle is sure of only one thing. Equestria is dying.

NOTE: Written before "It's about Time" in season 2. Everything after "Read it and Weep" was ignored throughout this story.

Nightmare Moon has conquered Equestria. Arrogant in her victory, she begins a reign of terror and an orgy of executions. She abducts a human from his home world to advise her. She thinks that her state craft is done well. The Human tends to disagree. He explains why.
