I had revoked the submission on Discord's New Style of Hypnotism with the intent to rework it. I know I could write a much better story off of the idea, but that's a lot of to do. As such, when I start writing for it again, the focus point will shift more toward the internal thoughts of the mane six to show more of the hypnotism aspect. The chapters I have already posted will remain, for the most part, the same. I have put the story back up with no changes to how it previously was.

I understand mistakes, everyone makes them, but I'm losing my mind over here. As such, I've compiled a small list of things that drive me crazy. All I've done recently is read and listen to creepy pastas....

The campfire stories of the internet? More like nightmares.

Well, I have three options:

-don't write things with Applejack
-don't have Applejack speak
-don't give Applejack a written accent

Because southern accents are not in my writing repertoire and it's a problem.

Can there be a group for that? "Southern Accent Writing Tutorial Group"

What are your opinions on writing in Applejack's accent? Any helpful tips?

I hate when in clop, the author writes something along the lines of:

"Without her realizing, her hand had wandered down her body."

Ummm.... No . Hands don't just wander. You intentionally move them. I get the whole voyeur/ can't look away thing but hands don't just move. Every action is intentional, whether in clop, or regular fiction, even life. Intention is everything.

"Read Later" is saying "this looks interesting but I don't want to read it right now." It's helpful, and you can find the story again when you're ready.

Later is really like a thousand years and you've banished the story to the read later list. The stars align for only a lucky few stories. Only once in a while do the stories escape and run rampant in your mind.

So basically, the stories become Luna and are stuck on the moon because we banished them.
