I'm in college, majoring in English (and trumpet performance , but that isn't important right now). There are just certain writing mistakes that drive me absolutely crazy. I understand mistakes, everyone makes them, but I'm losing my mind over here. As such, I've compiled a small list of things that drive me crazy. Feel free to add other irritating mistakes (or yell at me for being a grammar nazi).
-Change of perspective.
My goodness, I cannot express how irritating to be reading something in third person that switches to first person. Likewise, something in first person that switches to third.
-You're/ your
Do I need to explain it?
-Multitudes of spelling errors.
I understand a few misspelled words and error that were missed, but seriously? Spell check, people.
-Dialogue.

-Vague pronouns.
Which "she" is the one you are currently talking about? I'm confused.
-Tense shift
One line ago, the action was in the past, and now everything is in the future? Time traveling, much?
