Scootaloo has never told anypony that she is an orphan, that her parents one day decided not to come home. She has been on her own since she was very little. She has learned to fend for herself, care for herself, and doesn't want help from anypony, including her best friends. It isn't until a certain purple unicorn learns the truth and takes her into her home that Scootaloo realizes she needed help from somepony a long time ago.

Please do not ask if you can continue this story. The answer will be no.

==PLOT SUMMARY==

After Snowdrop had created the first winter snowflake, other pegasi learned to carve on the snow as well. With their vision as an advantage, they were able to create much more beautiful carvings on their snowflakes. Snowdrop was very frustrated at this, because she couldn't improve her own work with blind eyes.

One day by chance, she had a small talk with Princess Luna, and told her that she had always wanted to wish upon the stars that she could see the world. Luna, who cared so much about her little friend, promised that she would do whatever she could to realize Snowdrop's wish.

Surely, she couldn't cure her blindness. But being the Princess of the Night, she had her own way to open that little filly's eyes to a wide and colorful world, even though she wasn't fully prepared for such arcane magic that manipulates the dreamscape.

Nopony could have foreseen what that promise would eventually cause...

Princess Celestia has been keeping a dark secret from her subjects for a very long time.

It's not an easy truth to tell, but if anyone can accept her after learning it, it will surely be her most faithful student.

A side story of Merlos the Mad's A Twilight Landing. It takes place just after chapter twenty-four. If you read this story by itself, most of the jokes will still make sense. This may also be considered canon.
