At the behest of Princess Twilight Sparkle, Lieutenant Flash Sentry has been chosen as the captain for the ponyville royal guard. While pleased by this Revelation, he has doubts about his ability to fill the role.
Can he truly be the captain this new section of the royal guard needs?

On her first day at Canterlot High, the Twilight Sparkle of the human world learns that it wasn't just her new friends who mistook her for her royal Equestrian counterpart. Realizing that what had seemed like a harmless brush-off to her may have in fact broken the heart of nice-guy Flash Sentry, Twilight becomes determined to make it up to him. What better way to do that than to set him up on a date with the girl of his dreams-or at least, a close proximity to her?

It's a crazy plan to be sure, but it just might be crazy enough to work. Best of all, it's completely risk free. After all, there's no way either of them could develop feelings for each other, right?

It's been several months since the last time Flash had seen Twilight after he successfully apologized to her for his behavior during The Battle of the Bands! They made a promise to meet again the next time she visits.

Now it was time for the Friendship Games and he was pumped to join in to compete against their longtime rivals, The Shadowbolts from Crystal Prep! By chance, he met with Twilight again at the hallway. But Twilight acted like she never met him before in her life. Something seems off about Twilight.

And Flash was determined to find out!

This story takes place during the events of The Friendship Games from Flash's point of view.

This story is a sequel to To House Sirens

Flash Sentry believed that housing the sirens would have been enough to help them turn their lives around. It was only after having a talk with Adagio that he realized how wrong he was. The weeks that he let them live in his home can't have been for nothing though. There must be a solution that leaves everybody, including Flash himself, happy.

Can one be truly happy, however, with their past mistakes seemingly always on their mind?

Twilight has been working nonstop for the past couple days. She could really use some time to relax. When a certain orange stallion come to visit, she may finally be able to get the rest she so desperately desires.

I know, I know. I am taking a HUGE risk writing this. Flashlight might possible be the most hated shipping out there. I'm one of the few who actually does ship it. This is just a cute little short story.
On that note, if you do not like Flashlight, please do not downvote this story simply because you dislike the shipping. I'd sincerely appreciate it if you'd at least read it. It would mean a lot to me if you would read it.

Flash would readily admit that he’d been looking forward to his assignment in the Crystal Empire much more before the revelation that he’d be directly involved with keeping his boss’s wife safe- it left no room for error if you wanted to keep your job. However, when Cadance stumbles upon him and decides he's going to be her new friend, he's wholly unprepared for the sneaky princess's matchmaking mischief.

Written for the 2015 Everfree Northwest Writing Competition originally, but I fell asleep the night submissions were due and it didn't get approved until after, so I didn't get it sent in... Ah well, no way it would've won anyway.

Twilight has just gone through eye surgery, and needs to recover. Which means her eyes are covered and she can't see. Without anything to do, she can only wish she could read a new book she's been reading. And somepony is there to grant that wish.

Hey dad,

I got a real tough favor to ask you. I have this friend who's sorta down on her luck at the moment. I was wondering if maybe we could let her stay at the house with me until she gets back on her feet. I'm sure it wouldn't be for too long. With a little help I'm confident that she'll be able to turn her life around pretty quick. So what do you say?
