Anyone see this story in the news a couple of weeks ago about a 12-year old who built a fusion reactor? This is a well-established DIY project. The design is a Farnsworth-Hirsch fusor, which uses high electric fields to force hydrogen atoms into fusing together. There is a whole community of fusion fans building reactors in basements and garages around the world.

Rock Farms and Nuclear Reactors - complete · 11:45pm Dec 27th, 2013

I have now uploaded the third and final chapter of Rock Farms and Nuclear Reactors, in which Twilight discusses the wisdom of using nuclear power with Zecora and Luna. There are ways in which I might continue this project, or maybe write a sequel, but this won't happen any time soon, so it is now officially complete. Thanks for reading. I'll write a longer blog post on this at some point over the weekend.
