It was just a normal autumn day in Ponyville. Foals planned for the upcoming Nightmare Night, mares and stallions worked their jobs, all seemed normal.

Yet, something changes.

A pony hired by the Royals runs through the rooms of the Equestrian Bureau of Anomalous Investigation, collecting as much data as he could to help them piece together what caused radio silence from the Bureau.

Everypony has two cutie marks. Well, technically not. When their soulmate gets their cutie mark, it appears somewhere on their body.

Fluttershy had heard this her whole life, and waited for the day she'd meet her soulmate.
And then a cyan pegasus came into her life.

Much has past since Twilight ascended into alicornhood. It wasn't the best moment of her life knowing that she had become immortal. Everyone around her, her friends, her family, all laid to rest, but only she remained among mortals and among the princesses.

During a cold winter, Twilight looks back at what life was like for her while going to her friends' graves, paying respects to them, and to never forget what they had done for her when they were once part of her life.

Takes place 40 years after the end of the series.

Sol City has the biggest, most impressive Nightmare Night Parade in all of Equestria. Floats, holograms, free stuff... the works! It's everything anycreature could ever hope a parade to be... and this year it's even more special: Not one, but two legendary singers—Hard Rock Legend Yumi and Neo Pop Super-Star, Legend and main attraction, Sweetie Belle—are going to open and close the parade respectively, ending in a city-wide concert that will also be streamed across the world.

Enter Neon Clove, a unicorn runner/musician that loves Sweetie Belle's music and might (just might) have hacked her chances to win the Golden Ticket and take part in the parade, and counts herself the luckiest mare alive.

None of them could anticipate that this Nightmare Night would change the world forever.

After a mirror portal field trip being conducted by Luna goes terribly wrong, Ocellus finds herself trapped in a strange palace far from home. That palace, once abandoned, is now infested with a hive of love-starved changelings intent on using her only way home as a means to invade her world.

Otherwise, Ocellus appears to be alone.

The story is inspired by, and a homage to, my favorite game of the last decade. However, this story is neither a crossover nor AU. This story is set after "The End of the End" (but before "The Last Problem"), and is purely a My Little Pony story. As life seems to be at its end for the ponies of the Riverlands, many revolters have other ideas, but the most likely of hero's will save the day or could back fire and destroy the entire plan.

This is a story set in the universe of Equestria at War, after the Griffonian Empire has taken over the river coalition and reinstated the Reichsmandat Flussland. It was written for the Equestria at War writing contest 2020.

The dread Coronavirus has emerged in Equestria. Meanwhile, Corona Sheen’s life has been rather miserable of late.
