Spring Rain and Glitter Drops feel sorry for leaving their best friend Fizzlepop Berrytwist. They were never able to apologize to Fizzlepop for not knowing where their friend was. But when they find out that Fizzlepop is in Ponyville, they decide to go to Ponyville to apologize to Fizzlepop. Meanwhile, Twilight and Fizzlepop have a date during the Hearts and Hooves Day.

I know it's not Valentine's Day / Hearth and Hooves Day anymore, but I couldn't send it on the day this holiday was taking place, since I was still writing the story.

Tempest had left Equestria to spread the word of friendship. She decides to return after hearing of many dark rumors about her homeland.

What she finds is worse than she could have ever imagined.

Where is everyone? Why does the smell of smoke hang so strongly in the air?

This story is a sequel to Scars

After Twilight Sparkle told Celestia, Luna and Cadence about Queen Novo getting mad at her after her attempt to steal the pearl, resulting in Twilight and Pinkie having a fight and their friendship almost ending, the three princesses summon Queen Novo to a meeting.

After Twilight saved Equestria from Storm King along with her friends, she feels sorry for lying to her friends and mostly screaming at Pinkie Pie. But she isn't the only one who wants to apologize.

A newcomer shows up with motivations from unknown to all. His quest for Vengeance and Justice drives him to attack just when the heroes are about to win. He seeks something he has lost and will do anything to gain it back.

Is he the villain or the hero, you decide if his actions are worthy of his motives.

After spreading the world of the Storm King's demise, Tempest Shadow feels it is time to further atone for her role in his attrocities by leading an attack on Klugetown to liberate the slaves being imprisioned and sold there. After a rousing speech to convince Equestria's Royal Guard, and an appeal to Queen Novo's desire to make up for years and years of cowering in Seaquestria, an army of ponies and hippogriffs is ready to shatter Verko's hold on the town. With Tempest Shadow, Princess Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Starlight Glimmer, and the other five Element Bearers leading the charge, victory is all but assured.

What's more, two of the brave creatures among this army are about to have meetings that will significantly alter the course of their lives.

The past can hurt, as it does for Tempest who is reflecting on her past from the moment she had been betrayed by the Storm King all to satisfy his lust for power all the way back to the moment she had lost the one thing precious to her: her horn.

A knock on the door and a familiar face that has been with her since she changed is standing there, to check up on her and see how she is doing.

As a spy for Celestia, you are tasked with a mission to retrieve information regarding the commanding officer of the invading Storm King, Tempest Shadow. But you were captured, and, all alone with only her, Tempest begins her interrogation. What she discovers from you might finally calm the tempest in her head and lift a shadow from her heart.
