Wallflower Blush expected the Rainbooms would forget about her once she was no longer a magical threat. Sunset Shimmer had other ideas. Now, largely without meaning to, Wallflower has somehow become the first human to visit Equestria. On a date, no less.

At least that's the only thing she'll have to worry about. After all, what in a world full of candy-coated magic ponies could possibly be as terrifying as being in a relationship with Sunset Shimmer?

And why did Pinkie Pie just shudder and give Wallflower that pitying look?

In a place where pegasi don't move the clouds and no princess walks beside the moon, a young researcher hides early gray beneath her fiery locks. The bags under her eyes are worn in; the friendship she once knew the product of a halcyon childhood. Loneliness makes strange bedfellows, and hers may be the strangest of all. Yet therein she has found a companion - one to whom the gift of her heart is real, and whom she can only protect by vowing never to see again.

Sunset Shimmer travels on a night train, fleeing with her unorthodox partner to their final destination. Only a few hours remain - can she truly let go of everything she has left?

No one said a relationship would be easy. Wallflower Blush may be going out with the most popular girl in school, but that won't stop her from taking missteps and making mistakes. Some of these memories are so embarrassing she'd rather forget them.

Back when she was a filly, Tempest made the decision to run away from her home. Away from those that loved her. And, unknowingly, began a path of harm and ruin. Now, years later, Tempest has achieved what she never thought possible. She's in a wonderful relationship and is surrounded by close friends. And, most importantly, she thought she had finally escaped her past.

However, during the annual Hearthfire visits for Hearth's Warming, she's suddenly asked to return to Wintertide village, the place of her birth. In just under a week, she has to make a choice. Face her past.

There is an exotic world out there where magic is common. So much so that it shapes the way the entire world works. There are many schools dedicated to training magicians, magic is a big part of creating and preparing food, the development of transportation has been changed by magic, and there are companies that hire skilled magicians to send on missions too dangerous for a regular person. Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle are members of one of these companies, and even among the experienced magicians that work there, they are powerful.

Many months after Sunset had turned over a new leaf, her life is pretty good. She's gotten used to her new way of life after being commanding and aggressive for so long, she has a stable job that provides a good income, she has a decent amount of friends, and she's even started dating Twilight after liking her for so long. There are occasional rumors about her that slightly soil her newly built reputation, but it's nothing she can't deal with. One day, though, there's a rumor that threatens to ruin her life, and the disastrous effects of it begin destroying her life. Sunset and Twilight wonder why someone would tell such a horrible lie. Little does the couple know that the rumor has a bit more truth to it than they think...

P.S. Again (like last year), I apologize for the cover not really reflecting the story, but it was the closest thing I could find to a fitting picture. Also, the story is rated T, but I wouldn't bat an eye if someone well under the age of 13 read it. It's just to be on the safe side.

Despite years together, Sunset has yet to meet Wallflower's parents. With their wedding only months away, it's time to do that, and more importantly it's time to know why it hadn't happened until now.

And New Mexicolt seems the perfect place. Art, history, and natural beauty abound. But strange auroras haunt the skies, and there are reports of UFOs.

Really, the state motto is The Land of Enchantment. They should have seen this coming.

This story is a sequel to Acting Like You're Happy

Sunset is happy. She's found a loving girlfriend who understands her issues, and together they've found their own ways to happy. Now, Sunset is looking at a new way to make her girlfriend happy: taking her to see her home world of Equestria. It should be a fun adventure, a sightseeing tour at the worst, yet Sunset is worried as she usually is. She wants this day to be special, but she knows it would be all too easy for things to get out of hoof. But as long as they're together, things should work out okay.

Although it seems my skill with deadlines has not improved in the past year... Oh well, happy thoughts! I am actually in the running for a win this time! Not that I expect to win, but it's nice to know I haven't disqualified myself for silly reasons. Either way, enjoy this sequel fluff! I know I did (when I finally sat down and wrote it, blargh).

Sunset Shimmer hasn’t been the same for the last few months. She still says that she loves Pinkie Pie, but she doesn’t show it like she used to.

Desperate to rekindle their passion, Pinkie takes Sunset on vacation to sunny Puerto Caballo. With a week of sun, sand and Caribbean fun ahead of them, Pinkie wants nothing more than to spend quality time with Sunset. But Sunset has other plans.
