After having her first relationship end on a sour note, a dejected and emotionally confused Twilight returns to Ponyville. Rainbow Dash soon realizes something is wrong and comforts Twilight. Helping deal with Twilight's problems, Rainbow becomes a shoulder to cry on, a Guardian Angel of sorts. As Twilight recovers, the two mares find themselves learning more about themselves and each other.

A TwiDash "song-fic" with an interesting take on Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash's ancestor from the past pays her a visit. Why does Rainbows family have the rainbow mane trait almost nopony else has? Who is Moonstar and why is he here? Who knows? One unicorn tells the story of how her family got their rainbow mane.

Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Fluttershy travel to the frozen north of Equestria and there, they encounter King Sombra. Armed with new abilities, they proceed to do battle with him. However, even with their new powers, they still have trouble with engaging him directly, with the kind of power he possesses. Rainbow Dash, being the Element of Loyalty, fights stronger than all the others and goes all out to protect her friends. However, even this is not enough to defeat King Sombra, and he eventually pins Rainbow Dash down and kills her. All seems lost, but then suddenly, Rainbow Dash stands up once more.

Note: This is actually a part of another fic that I was writing, but I have since scrapped it. This scene is what inspired me to write it in the first place. I like this part so much that I decided to make it a small, independent story. Enjoy.

Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash have been Dating for a while now, so they decide to go to the opening night of the first Daring Do movie, but when the projector breaks before the end of the movie they decide to break into the employees only section and "borrow" a copy of the film so they can see the ending.

This takes place between season 3 and season 4.

Twilight and Rainbow trace back through the series of events that ultimately resulted in the formation of their relationship. A short story about cause and effect.

Also a little exercise in the sort of "logic vs. emotion" dynamic between Twilight and Rainbow.

After putting off buying Rainbow Dash a birthday present, Twilight frantically searches for the perfect gift to give her rainbow manned friend. Unbeknownst to Twilight, Rainbow has her own plans for Twilight.

Will Twilight understand the subtle hints? Of course not, it wouldn't leave much of a story huh?

Twilight has thought of Rainbow Dash as more than a friend for quite some time now. Noticing how affectionate her friend has become towards her as well, she finally works up enough courage to admit these feelings. The only problem is that she and her friends are currently in the Crystal Empire, fully engaged with one of the largest events in Equestria, the Equestria Games. This, of course, presents plenty of obstacles for the princess, along with a problem which could completely ruin her chances and make her attempts utterly useless.
