She-Who-Devours was the first dragon. Massive and powerful, she settled upon Equis after consuming a nearby star. From her came forth the six dragon breeds. Fire, Air, Water, Earth, Mind...and Leviathan.

Millions of years later, the fifth Leviathan has arisen. Spike, assistant to Twilight Sparkle.

And woe betide those who cross the Leviathans. For they are patient...they are powerful...and they are eternal.

When the deposed king of the Diamond Dogs is brought before the court of Celestia, the story he tells is far too much to believe. For if it is true, the Equestrians' conquest of his nation has been a terrible mistake.

The seas of Equestria are largely undiscovered, ponies have never felt the need to explore them.

But if a pony where to go down to that deep dark pit of blackness down there, what would he discover, and would he live to tell the tale.

But what if the creatures down there, found us first.

[Current characters will be OC for the time being, more knowable characters will enter the story at later points]

A Leviathan crashes and embeds itself deep within the Western Equestria Mountain Range. Pretty soon, portals start opening up around the land, and the wicked terrors that lie behind these portals, is beyond words.

The Ing.

And now, it's up to Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and the Aetherian Space Pirate Grenadier Gradis Magis to fight off these Darkling monstrosities. Only one problem, not only do they have stolen equipment from their last enemy, the Luminoth, they've also adapted themselves to light. Can the five friends prevent these malicious beings from draining Equestria of all energy to fuel its Ing-infested doppelganger? Or will the Ing rise, and defeat the ponies, once and for all.

This story is a sequel to M.A.D.
