Twilight Sparkle considers her owly assistant, Owlowicious, an invaluable helper and a wonderful friend.

But what if he's more than he initially seems?

The history books tell many tales of the great Star Swirl the Bearded, one of Equestria's most famous and talented unicorn wizards. But suspiciously, they are quiet on what ultimately became of the skillful stallion. Is there anypony who might know his ultimate fate?

Just one, and he says, "Hoo!"

In Equestria's distant past, before Celestia and Luna ruled, a magical experiment will be performed that will forever change the fate of Star Swirl the Bearded and help create the one and only Owlowicious we all know and love today.

This is their tale.

As with everything I write (unless otherwise noted), this takes place in what I shall officially call the Peregrine Fanonverse. The rules are simple: the show and all creator (Faust) canon is law, absolute fact not to be ignored or contradicted. Everything I write takes place in the same universe. This means references may be made to other stories on the occasion. But I will do my best to keep individual stories set apart enough to not be a problem. One detail about this story specifically: transcribing an episode is tiring work, so I stopped this at a natural ending point. A short trip to Canterlot with Rainbow Dash and Applejack is the perfect opportunity for Twilight to test out her new long-distance Teleportation spell. But a nasty cold dashes the hopes of a quick trip, and makes the spell disappear in smoke: instead of arriving in Canterlot, the three find themselves in the nearby Everfree Forest, and discover that their location is not the only thing that went wrong.

While Rainbow has exchanged her wings and tail for a straw blond tail, Applejack has acquired a rainbow tail as well as a pair of strong, blue wings.

While Twilight attempts to find a spell to return the body parts to their rightful owners, the others must attempt to deal with this situation... and with their changing feelings.

Big Macintosh's life has taken a surprising turn in the form of a pink pony with a penchant for partying. But even amongst all the gossip and the dozens of parties appearing on his calendar, he still manages to live the same life he’s always lived (to a certain degree). However, sometimes it’s not the great big changes that are the most affecting.

Nightmare Moon is back once more and wreaking havoc on Equestria, leaving its towns in total ruin. When the Elements of Harmony have failed in defeating this powerful foe and her army of Diamond Dogs,who could possibly have enough raw power to save all of Equestria and restore it to its harmonious state?
The answer is pretty obvious.

Rarity and Applejack share a secret history: as fillies, they were the best of friends, until one terrible day soured their relationship for years to come. Forced back together by recent events and mutual friendships, they nevertheless cannot ignore the painful memories of all that went wrong. The past cannot be changed, but when Rarity and Applejack must work together to save their sisters from terrible danger, it just may be the case that a friendship once broken can be reforged in fire, and emerge from the flames stronger than ever before.

This story is a birthday gift from me and the illustrator, Harwick, to a very dear friend with a singular affection for Rarity and Applejack.

When Ruby boards the first trans-oceanic flight in Equestrian history, the last place she expects to end up is stranded in the middle of Eternity's Crossing in the wake of a horrific zeppelin crash. After a mysterious tower leads her and a fellow survivor to discover a twisted and fragmented city twenty thousand feet below the surface of the ocean, though, a bit of fire and smoke is the last thing she needs to worry about. Between the horrendously disfigured residents and the paranoia of the madmare who once built and controlled it, daily survival in this corrupted utopia is anything but a guarantee. But with the help of some new friends and a few genetic enhancements, Ruby isn't going down without a fight, and in the process might just discover that the deadliest weapon in Harmony is herself.

One thousand years later, the Drudges are rediscovered and recaptured, and it is up to Twilight and her friends to seal them away with the Elements of Harmony. However, things don’t go so well when the Drudges escape and cause havoc. Thus, Twilight and her remaining friends must go on an epic quest to defeat the Drudges once and for all. Applejack takes it upon herself to get Big Macintosh a date with one of her friends.

With Granny Smith's health in a slow decline, and Sweet Apple Acre sales also suffering, Applejack becomes despondent. Rumors of a mystical tree of life, bearing magic fruit, rekindle a flame within her, and she tackles the issue the only way she knows how - head-on.
