Old Elements return to wreck havoc on Equestria as the mane six learn about the vanity of war and the strife of hatred.

The Elements were summoned to protect the lands of Equestria from a great evil. Now The Elements have themselves endangered this land. Princess Luna calls upon the aid of a friend one thousand years lost to help her reunite the army of Equestria as well as six mares to fight against forces that threaten the balance and safety of Equestria.

As three opposing forces come to battle with Equestria, the land and its ponies change and face the evil tat is war for the first time in centuries.

Scootaloo is a small pegasus with big dreams, one of those dreams is to be even more famous than her idol, Rainbow Dash. To get there, though, she needs to do a bit of growing, and first of all she needs to learn how to fly. A new invention from her friend Doctor Whooves may get her there in no time at all, literally before she knows it.

Rainbow Dash is invited by Pinkie Pie to come over to Sugarcube Corner, but it all goes horribly, horribly wrong. A one-shot that also serves as something of a writing exercise (and a fun change of pace, to boot).

I wrote this way back when as an added chapter to "The Party Hasn't Ended" by ButterscotchSundae. At the time, I asked her for permission to upload it to EqD and DA and she readily gave it. She was even kind enough to be one of my proofreaders. Therefore I doubt she will mind if I upload it here now. Its not the best fic ever, and there are some OOC issues with especially Rainbow Dash. After rediscovering the jewel used in creation of Nightmare Moon, Twilight does whatever she can to protect it for Princess Celestia, until everything turns oh so very wrong. After all, Twilight always was something of a hothead, now wasn't she?

On the way to Zecora's, the CMC have a run-in with a very ill-temprerd manticore. Fortunately for them, they are saved by a giant snake, but not before the surpent is gravely injured. The CMC decide to help the serpent by taking it to the pony that has the most experience with wild animals.
