Rainbow Dash is invited by Pinkie Pie to come over to Sugarcube Corner, but it all goes horribly, horribly wrong. A one-shot that also serves as something of a writing exercise (and a fun change of pace, to boot).

Rarity and Pinkie Pie are too busy for love, everypony knows that! Rarity has her dress business, and Pinkie has her parties. But what happens when the two mares are offered a chance to throw one of the biggest and most important party's ever: Big Macintosh and Fluttershy's WEDDING!

Can Rarity handle the hyper behavior and randomness of the ecstatic Pink Party Pony she's sure to encounter, long enough to design and plan the perfect day for her timid friend? Can she handle the stress of such a massive task with such little time? Will she be able to get through to Pinkie Pie to make her understand that this isn't just 'some party?"

For Rarity, yes, it's no problem! She'll be able to do this, no sweat!

There's just one problem...something's happened to Pinkie Pie. Nopony knows what, and nopony knows why. Well, nopony except the Cake's, and they've been sworn by the formidable power of the Pinkie Promise not to tell!!!

The task falls upon Rarity to save Pinkie Pie from her depressing behavior, and to discover the truth of what has happened to the poor mare, and perhaps discover a few things about herself that she never would have thought existed!

It has been several months since the fateful suicide attempt of a certain cyan pegasus. For Rainbow Dash, her new Marefriend Applejack, and the rest of Ponyville, life has returned to whatever semblance of normality they have previously grown accustomed to. However, when a mysterious stranger appears in town, it seems time to remember that things sometimes can be too good to be true. When confronted with hm, two mares will face a life-changing decision; a decision that could rip them apart no matter how strong the bonds of their relationship were forged. For some ponies, forgiveness is easy. For others, it proves hard to let go. He is a polarizing figure; a stallion who few in Ponyville remember, and those who do mostly wish to forget. On the way to Zecora's, the CMC have a run-in with a very ill-temprerd manticore. Fortunately for them, they are saved by a giant snake, but not before the surpent is gravely injured. The CMC decide to help the serpent by taking it to the pony that has the most experience with wild animals.

Twilight's cutie mark is fading, and Celestia sends her a series of lessons to rekindle her passion for magic- and for friendship. Twilight must study the magics her friends possess, as well as casting a serious eye on her own gifts.

This is technically a sequel to "Fixing Up Miss Smartypants", so I totally recommend that you read that first. It's set five years later.

I wrote this way back when as an added chapter to "The Party Hasn't Ended" by ButterscotchSundae. At the time, I asked her for permission to upload it to EqD and DA and she readily gave it. She was even kind enough to be one of my proofreaders. Therefore I doubt she will mind if I upload it here now. Its not the best fic ever, and there are some OOC issues with especially Rainbow Dash.
