One day while going through some books with her friends, Rainbow dash shows Twilight a certain shape, and everyone suddenly starts hating on the hexagon. Of course, CGP Grey senses it all the way from earth in his universe, and ain't having none of it, as he teleports to Equestria just so he can explain how the hexagon, is the bestagon, using facts, logic, some stern words, and a little thing called SCIENCE!

"Darkness beyond blackest pitch, Deeper than the deepest night." Those words echoed through her dreams from foalhood. However as she grew her bonds with her brother, her assistant and her mentor quieted them. Her bonds with her friends, the other elements, silenced them. But what happens when those bonds break? When all she loves turns their back on her. What happens when the Nightmare awakes?

A mysterious dream. A powerful artefact. And a great ocean, filled with strange experiences and stranger folks.

The sky is wide and the sea is boundless. Applejack sets sail, and nothing can stop her in her quest.
