Naruto was well, and sure that there would be consequences to using the Kyuubi's power the way he did against Pein. Meeting his father was the only possible silver-lining along with saving the village and being hailed a hero.

Now, because of a fail-safe left behind by his overly cautious father, the Yondaime, he is stranded and lost. The thoughts of finding a new purpose are railroaded when he meets a certain white, unicorn private, Shining Armor. Then finding a wall-eyed pegasus, who'd give unto him what he most desired.

In the human world, a tragedy left an entire bus worth of children dead, their families and friends to mourn the lost. In Equestria, those same children found themselves in another world with new bodies, having to cope with being on their own, their memories, and their own deaths.

Ten years later, they begin to reunite in Ponyville after some of them assist in defeating Nightmare Moon.

Now Twilight Sparkle and her friends must try to cope with a strange and diverse group of beings, with personalities as varied as their species, moving in and around her new home. And not all of them see their world as a kind and wonderful place. Some of them are just too Cynical for that now.

For over a thousand years, Discord was trapped in stone. Some think that he was forced to watch the centuries go by while being powerless. This, however, is false. While he was completely aware, he also had access to all of his powers- he just couldn't leave the statue. So, he did what any chaos god does when bored: make more chaos and play god with the aftermath.

He was better at it than you might think.

And he enjoyed it more than he expected.

Now reformed, Discord decides to show his new friends/former enemies exactly what he did for the thousand years in stone. Or rather, all the tiny worlds he made. Along the way, the mane six shall discover more not only about Discord, not only about themselves, but also about the princesses themselves, and their mysterious past with Discord.

War has broken out through all of Equestria. Blood, fire, and destruction, cannot be healed by 'Love', 'Tolerance', and 'Friendship'. Twilight, desperate to end the suffering, wishes to turn her friends into Alicorns. She, out of all ponies however, should know that such powers must be earned, not just simply given. What happens when she turns a deaf ear to her friends, and makes a deal with a true god?

Discord isn't just a creature of chaos, he is chaos. Holding back such lawless magic may just be the end of him.

After being imprisoned once again for hundreds of years, Discord has had plenty of time to think.

What had he done to deserve this? How had he ended up in this situation again? He did everything right this time (literally becoming one of the good guys, with no ulterior motives). They still feared him. They still hated him. And in his moment of weakness, an old personality resurfaces. A personality that even Discord had struggled to put away, in hopes that it would never return...

Instead of being defeated and turned to stone, Discord made peace with Equestria, opting to rule a land where condemn criminals and outcasts are banished to.

But of course, all things are relative. After all, Discord's tyranny is benevolent compared to the warring Queens, Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon
