For years, Diamond Tiara had accepted her parents’ values as her own: that status and money were the two most important things in Equestria.

That she is not her parents and does not hold their unique talents is a fact that she cannot run from forever, though, and the consequences of holding herself to their values are building up.

For now, she must hold her own against her parents’ disapproval, but without the backs of her classmates to stand upon, her methods aren’t providing any answers.

This story takes place during/in place of Crusaders of the Lost Mark.

Filthy Rich always thought he was a good father to his daughter and a good husband to his wife. Sure, his wife was stricter towards Diamond than he liked and Diamond was terribly unfriendly, but he never realized how far things had gone.

Diamond Tiara loves winter. The cold weather means even ponies in Ponyville wear clothes. With clothes, she can proudly display how much better she is than other ponies. For this reason, her annual pre-winter shopping trip is of key importance. On its successful conclusion will hinge much of her enjoyment of the coming winter.

Filthy Rich is a busy pony. The needs of his store chain occupy his time, leaving little for anything else, including his daughter. When a cancelled meeting leaves him with a free day, he takes advantage of the opportunity to go shopping with his little girl.

When Twilight fails a duplication spell, it splits one Pinkie into three Pinkies. But two Pinkies aren't quite like the original. One a white Pegasus with a golden mane, and the other, a pony of a monotone pink and the straightest silkiest mane in all Equestria.

When Pinkie Pie took up the role of fortune teller for Twilight in "It's About Time" she never expected anypony to take it seriously. But the citizens of Ponyvillie don't know that and it isn't long before they're all lining to up to see "Madame Pinkie Pie" predict the future, which soon becomes a major pain in the flank for Pinkie Pie.

In one timeline, Discord decided that the best way to get a group of villains to learn friendship was to pretend to be a spooky old goat and strongarm them into trying to conquer Equestria together.

This would turn out to be a terrible plan.

In another timeline, Discord took five seconds to actually think and run this plan by someone else before jumping in head first. Maybe the cashier at Whinndy’s wasn't the best pony to ask for advice, but he loved the plan she suggested even more.
