This story is a sequel to Snowbound

It's a bad old time to be human. About half the world is gone thanks to Celestia's Barrier, the only options are 'fight and die' or 'get turned into newfoals,' and everything's falling apart. The greatest menace to America as they wait for the Barrier to touch down is not, paradoxically, PER, but restless Human Liberation Front terrorists that dream of taking control of the fight from the brave PHL. One of the worst HLF men is Viktor Marius Kraber, a traumatized Afrikaner, former father, and former surgeon with an appetite for destruction and big guns. But one day, wracked by guilt at an HLF checkpoint, he lets a lost filly and her mother live. From that point on, his life goes to hell (more than usual, anyway) as he tries to make his way and cast aside hatreds in a world gone mad, and maybe, just maybe, become a good person.
Forced to deal with irritating hallucinations, self-hatred, enemies on all sides, and developing a conscience in a world gone mad, will he manage to survive in this world? Will he ever become a good person? Will he join the PHL and befriend the freakishly huge earth pony stallion named Aegis seen in the cover image, and shoot Queen Celestia's spine out?! Can he? FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, CAN HE?!

Of course he can! It's a fokkin' prequel.

(Well, actually, considering the emphasis on the development of a character from before the beginning of a game and the fact that it takes place between stories, it's actually more of a presequel. Or presidequel?)

Part of the Conversion Bureau: The Other Side Of The Spectrum continuity.

For Stellar Wind, the job of being a navigator for a human ship is hardly a dream job when you're a visitor from another world.

The fact that his employers are a shady smuggler crew does little to ease his worry. No sooner than after the ship leaves London, Stellar finds himself stuck on a ship with a ragtag group with questionable ethics and motives, with immigrant civilians on one end and a team of human SAS operatives, raiding the ship, on the other end.

The discovery of stolen prototype weapons, designed to wipe out an army without ever touching them, complicates things, and tensions reach a breaking point when war breaks out, and the traitorous PER begin their attack.

But who is the person in the night, the man or stallion who converts? Is he friend, or is he foe? As far as Stellar Wind is concerned, fanatical ponies and traitorous humans are no friends of his.

Several crates of ponification potions, seven thousand rounds of ammunition, dozens of rifles and various small arms, four missiles, and three cannons.

A four-man-and-a-pony team, a smuggler crew of men and ponies, an Indonesian President, the Last King of Romania, a group of immigrants, a team of SAS operatives, a former Bureau Doctor, the PER and the Solar Empire.

"It's going to be a bloody holocaust"

Set in the greater universe that is the Conversion Bureau: The Other Side of the Spectrum, or the Spectrumverse for short.

Twilight Sparkle never seemed to notice Lyra Heartstrings. She didn't even remember Lyra's name.

They were friends back in Canterlot and even went to school together. Yet Twilight didn't notice that Lyra just happened to move to Ponyville the same day she did. She didn't even notice when Lyra appeared at her welcoming party. Nor did she ever seem to spot her old classmate passing by in the background on any other day during her stay in Ponyville. Some days she could look right at Lyra and never realize that they knew each other.

Lyra isn't a very noticeable pony. She has put a lot of effort into that.

Set in late season 5, after Amending Fences.
Note: Lots of spoilers in the comments.

Okay, first off, you don't get to call me Flurry Heart. Not unless you have special privileges which are only afforded to those who are related to me and/or are national heroes. Or, I guess, if you're that guard that mom sends after me...

Point is, I'm Skyla. Got it memorized? SKY. LA.

Now these are the stories of how I earned myself that name. And a few other titles. And look, maybe mom and dad say I'm just going through a phase, but I say PHASES ARE FOR WIMPS. This, is who I am!

And the only reason I'm using Circus-Cinnamon's photo is because I can't find any other photos with how I really feel on it. I mean seriously, crystal ponies, I'm yelling half the time, is it that hard to take an angry picture?!

Trixie is anything but an ordinary stage magician, so it goes without saying that only a unique kind of assistant should accompany her.

Without even intending it, that's exactly what she gets, along with all the headaches and life lessons that come with it.

Set in the Trio-verse, an AU where Celestia was banished instead, and Luna took up Sunset, Trixie and Twilight as her students. Cover art provided by Cloureed.

When a small filly calling herself Sonata Dusk emerged from the mysterious portal within the castle, Princess Luna expected many things. What she didn't expect was for the filly to claim that she was actually a siren, banished from Equestria a thousand years ago. Despite her initial surprise, Luna makes an unexpected decision, and takes the filly under her wing.

Several years later, with the impending return of an ancient evil, Luna sends Sonata off to the humble little town of Ponyville, in the hopes that she will be able to learn the true value of the magic of friendship.

But Sonata isn't quite keen on interacting with other ponies. After all, ponies would never accept a singing sea monster as a true friend... right?

First story of the Sonataverse.

1,000 years ago, the shadow demon Eclipse possessed Princess Luna in a bid to seize control of both the sun and the moon. Eclipse was banished when Princess Celestia wielded the Elements of Harmony, but Luna fell into an eternal coma.

Waking Night, the festival of dreams, is held in honor of Princess Luna and the anniversary of Eclipse's banishment. In the dark corners of Equestria, though, sinister forces conspire to make their move and free Eclipse from its prison.

When the forces of evil strike, six mares from vastly different walks of life find themselves thrown into a quest to retrieve the Elements of Harmony, the only magic strong enough to end the threat of Eclipse and its followers once and for all. In order to find the Elements, they will have to venture deep into the secret resting place of Princess Luna, but Eclipse also seeks the sleeping Princess of the Night.

Chronologically, this is the series premier of the Eclipse-verse series.

For over a thousand years, the Festival of Hearthswarming has been celebrated throughout Equus as a ceremony of harmony and friendship. On that fateful evening, long ago, two exceptional fillies were given to all of ponykind; the regents of the Sun and Moon. It marked the beginning of an era of peace and plenty.

But now, something has gone terribly wrong.

In a universe that is a twisted mockery of the one where Twilight Sparkle and her circle of friends carry out their lives' work, the only fires that burn are those spread by the Equestrian Solar Empire as it wages a pitiless crusade to bring about Perfect Harmony – both on this world and that of recently-encountered mankind.

As a new year dawns, Queen Celestia sends out her assassin to deal with the reindeer Spirit of the Holiday. Their confrontation tonight will decide the future of Hearthswarming. Perhaps it is destined to die and leave the worlds a colder, more cruel place. Or maybe, just maybe, will its true meaning live on in some small spark.

A tale set in the greater universe of Spectrum, formerly The Other Side of the Spectrum, though knowledge of those works is not required to understand this short story.

Co-written with the invaluable help of TB3 and Sledge115.
