In celebration of getting promoted to Captain of the Guard, Shining Armor decides to have a night on the town with his men. As the night goes on though, the new guy, Flash Sentry, decides to give Shining a hoof getting home. After a disastrous encounter with Princess Celestia where neither Ponies could keep their mouths shut, they end up getting taught a lesson and possibly learning more than they thought they would in the process.

Based on the movie: Sonic the Hedgehog, but with some changes.

After fleeing to planet Earth, Sonic the Hedgehog has been secretly living in Canterlot City as his new home for the past decade along with his incredible power of super speed. Things went well for him, until he accidentally knocks out the power grid, getting the attention of the military organization, G.U.N., along with the evil genius, Dr. Robotnik.

Meanwhile, the Equestria Girls was preparing for their upcoming graduation, leaving Sunset Shimmer unsure of her future. When the power grid near their school was knocked down, CHS was in suspicion by G.U.N., sending in a special agent to investigate as a result.

When the two groups meet up due to circumstances, Sonic and The Equestria Girls must team up to retrieve Sonic's rings and stop Robotnik from using Sonic's power for world domination while fleeing from the government.

After witnessing Spike go out there and stall for time in an important play, Princess Luna becomes concerned about the adverse effects it might have on the little dragon's mental state.

She uses this an "excuse" to pay a visit to him after the play and have a one on one talk with him, giving him a chance to know that he is helpful.

But that is not the only reason the night princess comes to see Spike, the alicorn is dealing with her own personal issues and needs a friend she can trust to confide them in. Plus, Luna isn't the only one who wishes to give praise to Spike.

The Shadow Empire has risen, peace in the galaxy is in danger, only the Jedi Knights can stop them, but sometimes the teachings of a Jedi are not the most appropriate, but a young boy with green hair will learn that not everything is so simple, but he will be determined to move forward to find peace in the galaxy, and will take down anyone who stands in his way.

And it will show us a different vision of the Force

Spike's feelings for Rarity are obvious to everypony who knows him. However, Rarity herself does not seem to understand. Spike will finally know her reasons.
