???
From the outskirts of Canterlot City, was a rock cliff with a beautiful view of trees and Canterlot City with a sun setting in the background. No creature was around the area except for a few birds chirping from within the trees. There was even a gentle breeze, causing a few trees to sway with the wind.
All seemed peaceful.
Suddenly, the wind is picking up, causing the leaves that were on the ground to rustle and then lifted into the air. The leaves then spun around into a mini makeshift tornado, spinning faster and faster. Then, with a sudden sound of a ‘dink”, the ring suddenly appeared and grew into a large portal. The portal lingered for a few seconds longer before a mysterious small creature leaped out of the portal and then landed on the cliff of Earth with his two feet.
That mysterious creature in question looked like a tiny golden-yellow fox with blue eyes. But he’s no ordinary fox. He was also wearing a pair of white gloves, red shoes and he even has a yellow backpack strapped on his back. He even has two tails instead of one like all the other foxes.
The small fox then took out a small yellow device from his backpack and used it to scan something, or someone, from within the nearby town. “If these readings are accurate, he's here,” the Fox muttered. “I found him! I just hope we’re not too late.”
As the fox said those lines, someone else also stepped through the portal and stood behind the fox. Unlike the small fox, this person is actually a different species, specifically a male human. He stared out towards Canterlot City with a thoughtful expression on his face.
“So… this is Earth, huh?” He hummed, studying the area. “This place is actually more beautiful than I thought.”
The fox glanced slightly toward his companion. “You know, you don’t have to help me find him,” he offered. “I can just drop you off somewhere so you can find your family.”
The human shook his head. “It’s okay… they can wait.” He flashed the fox his smile. “Besides, I promised that I’ll help. And I don’t leave anyone hanging who asks for help.”
“Well, if you say so, but I appreciate it!” the Fox smiled before facing the town again. “Anyway, he’s somewhere in this town, so let’s go!”
The fox twisted his two tails and then he spun them around like a helicopter. The fox slowly lifted himself off of the ground while keeping his tails spinning. With a determined expression, the fox zoomed toward the town at high speed to get to his destination.
The human lingered behind as he took out an old photograph from his pocket, staring intensely at it. It was a picture of a little girl with rainbow hair, wearing blue overalls with a smile on her face.
The man has lost his memories from long ago and he didn’t even know who he is or his past. All he remembered was that he used to live on Earth and that he knew this little girl only by a certain name. He doesn’t know why she was on his mind a lot despite having no memories, but what he does know is that she is very important to him and that he needs to find her.
But that search can wait for the time being.
“Just wait for me a little longer, kid,” He whispered, rubbing the photo gingerly. “I’ll see you soon… Skittles.”
He carefully placed the photo back into his pocket before activating his jet pack, which was hidden in his backpack. He lifted himself in the air before he followed the fox to resume their mission to find this specific person.
Whoever this “person” is, they need to find him, and they need to find him soon!

Sonic and the Equestria Girls will return in Equestria Girls: Sonic the Hedgehog 2!
Yes, you read correctly. There WILL be a sequel to this story! 
Of course, there will be! You all didn't think I'll just stop here now, did you? 
Writing this story, oh man! It was my most ambitious and greatest work yet (so far)! In fact, this story has more words than any of the stories I've ever written! I was able to combine the two series I love, and the fact that a lot of people really enjoyed my story is the most rewarding to me, I'm proud of that! 
It wasn't easy, especially finding the time to write with life on top of everything. Which is why I'll be taking a short break from writing, but don't worry, the sequel is going to happen! Just please... don't spam me messages on when it's coming out. It will be out when it's out! 
If you want to know any future updates, just follow me and I'll post every update blogs regarding the sequel! 
Another thing that I'll be planning was a spin-off story between the first and second story of short stories with Sonic and the gang. Think of that as short "chronicles" that you didn't get to see in the main story, as well as the second. And yes, there will be some chapters based on Sonic 2 pre-quill comic for the spin-off. That will come out later, either before or alongside the sequel. We'll see how that goes, so keep an eye on that.

REALLY good job on this short second epilogue. So, in addition to Tails arriving, Rainbow's missing uncle is also here. Yeah, I could see Tails helping the poor guy get back to his own universe (makes the little fox look even more like a Good Counterpart to Robotnik).
REALLY looking forward to the sequel.

When I first started reading this story, I came out of reading other FF that had the same premise of using the first movie story, but twist it to go in line with the other characters, but this? This has to be the best FF crossing over with Movie Sonic!
The fact that you have more to come after the whole movie? Well now! This is a surprise! A welcome one at that!

I'll start off with a simple: WOW!
This story is WAY too good for its original source material! Everything is so detailed and well-put for what's basically the movie retelling with MLP characters. And I'm genuinely impressed how you made it work! With things I never saw coming! And I was expecting for Rainbow Blaze to appear in the sequel (like come on, it's not THAT surprising) but what I wasn't expecting was for Celestia to a GUN agent and Commander's daughter!
I can go on and on, but I'll end this with one word: thank you.

I decided to read this chapter again and I'm sorry I didn't review it sooner as I've not been motivated and even depressed as 2022 was a shitty year with what happen and very few good things did happen for me. But anyway this was just cool as Tails has made an appearence and I can't wait to see if you will write the sequal to this.
But the one thing I didn't expect to see is that Rainbow Blaze is alive! Man Rainbow Dash is going to go apeshit when she finds out about this. But the thing is he has no memory of his past and I'm wondering what will it take to help restore his memories? Plus I didn't expect him to be using a jet pack.
This was a great chapter and when I can I'll review the other chapters too.

Yep, its rainbow's uncle alright. But it seems like he has amnesia.
I've already read a few of your stories already, but after reading this, I really enjoyed it. While there were some mistakes here and there, I still enjoyed it, alongside the changes made from the movie this is based off of. If there's 1 I'm glad was changed, it would probably be the elevator scene. I never liked that scene and still don't, but I'm glad it changed. Plus the ventriloquist mention gave me flashbacks to something similar I saw from an episode of Digimon digital monsters. That aside, this was a great story. And I'll definitely be reading the sequel when I can. But for now, I'm reading the last 3 bonus chapters.
