This story is a sequel to My Little Doctor Whooves: Horsing Around

Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack are now the newest passengers aboard the TARDIS with the newly regenerated Doctor. And for their first adventure, they go to one of the most important points in Equestria's history: the Fall of Discord.
But something's not right. Instead of being defeated, Discord is practically unstoppable. It's up to these time-traveling ponies to find out what went wrong and how to make it go right.

Canterlot, Equestria, Equus. This is where the Doctor has found himself after he crashes the TARDIS. He also finds he's regenerated into a pony of all things. While trying to adjust to his new situation, he meets six other ponies, their princess of the sun, and a familiar threat.
Rated for safety.

The Doctor, the Doctor's companions, the Doctor's friends, the princesses, various one-shot characters... with all these characters, there's going to be too many stories to tell and not enough time in the main fanfiction.

Which is where The Merely Mundane Tales come in. They tell various short stories set in the same world as The Majestic Tale (of a Mad-Pony in a Box). You won't need to read these stories to make sense of the main plot (though I may drop minor pieces of foreshadowing in here). Anyway, enjoy!

This story is a sequel to The Seventh Element

EDIT! This series is now open universe! You want to make a spinoff version? You totally can! You want to self insert yourself into their shenanigans? You can do that too! The characters and story are now completely public domain. I've lost interest in the series but if for some reason you actually like it enough to write your own take on it, you're more than welcome to! I'd love to read them, so feel free to link back and please remember to credit me/the story as the source!

Thestrals have returned to Equestria, but some still aren't willing to accept them. Meanwhile, Acrylic prepares to begin a new life with Torchwood. They'll face hardships, discover dangerous secrets, and begin the most terrifying quest of all- starting a family. Follow her on a journey of self discovery as she finds out what it really means to be a thestral.

NOTE: Stops following the series at Season 4.

After many a thrilling adventure the Doctor drops the girls off in Ponyville to relax and recharge. But then Rarity's latest client, a diamond dog mining magnate by the name of Zeitgeist Stardust, shows up to announce that he'll have to cancel his order for a new ensemble for the Grand Galloping Gala... but as compensation, he's offering Rarity and her friends a trip to the fabulous Dragon Valley Resort!

There's no such thing as a free lunch, though, as there's trouble brewing in the mines beneath Dragon Mountain. A race of creatures known as "Grundels" are sowing disaster and trying to sabotage Stardust's operation, for fear that the digging will awaken an ancient evil. Are the Grundels' fears justified, and can the Doctor and his new companions put a stop to this?

This story is a sequel to Living Nightmare

It would be highly advised to read Living Nightmare first, so as to avoid any spoilers.

The story of Stellar Nova was a huge one. first a human boy going into surgery for a brain operation, then becoming the living prison of Nightmare Moon. then Luna's daughter and all the other adventures she had along the way.

But there were questions we never got answered.

Why did The Doctor know Derpy?
Where and who is Dinky's birth father?
How did Blueblood's capture play out?
What were Pinkie's family's reaction to Pinkamena?
How did Blueblood and Trixie end up together?
Did ponies ever live on the moon?

All these questions and more will be answered in these side stories taking placing during, before and within the Living Nightmare universe.

Note: This is note a crossover with Doctor Who, even though The Doctor does have roles in some of the stories or the Crossover tag. I just wasn't allowed to upload this without said tag.

Thus begins a strange adventure as the dalek tries to find a place for itself in a world that is completely antithetical to its former existence and way of thinking...

...and why does that earth pony stallion look familiar...?

Allowing her curiosity to get the best of her, Twilight goes to investigate, and what she finds surprises her. She finds a brown stallion on the inside of a blue wooden box. Who is this pony and why does he ask Twilight to trust him?

The Doctor, a Time Pony, leaves his home-world, Gallopfrey, because, quote, "It's really quite rubbish." He finds a world called Equestria, which is more than a bit strange. For one thing, it's a geocentric system rather than a heliocentric one. He decides to investigate, but finds his query cut short by a visit from some old foes, the Cyberponies. Joined by the wall-eyed Derpy, the psychedelic songstress Vinyl and the refined Octavia, the Doctor must find a way to save his new friends and all of Equestria.

Chapters (5)

After saving Ponyville from the Cyberponies, the Doctor takes Derpy, Dinky, Vinyl and Octavia on their first adventure through time and space. Their destination; The Splendor, a massive cruise ship travelling the stars and powered by one. But, as usual, it doesn't take long for things to take a turn to the worst as the ship is overtaken by some hostile invaders with very nasty plans for the most amazing cruise ship in the galaxy. The Doctor must save not only his friends and the guests of the ship, but an entire world. The balance of an intergalactic war is on the line, and only the Doctor can save everyone.

No pressure.
