Set after Season 3, soon after Twilight's ascension.

Starlight succeeded in her plan for revenge against Twilight Sparkle. She prevented the pivotal sonic rainboom from ever happening, effectively destroying the timeline that lead Twilight on the path to befriending the rest of the Six. Which also kills the three of them. Because Starlight is an idiot blinded by a quest for vengeance. But before Twilight fades away, she tells a slightly younger Princess Celestia and Sunset Shimmer several things they will need to know to have any hopes of keeping Equestria safe from the many countless terrors that await it in the near future.

The story of Celestia and Sunset picking up the pieces of a mirror yet to shatter. Destinies will change. Fates will intertwine. Hearts will break. And forbidden knowledge will eventually come back to bite the Princess in the... Plot adaptation prequel of the original series.

Scootaloo has always had fun with the class assignments that Cheerilee gives her, and today, she is partnered with another of her classmates to see it through. However, as they work together, Scootaloo learns that her partner in this might not find this work as easy as she does.

Poppy Blossom is the best delivery mare in all Equestria. Although nopony ever seems to hire her due to her infamous reputation of attracting all manner of trouble. Such as when she was hired to deliver Princess Celestia's cake on her birthday, and had to sword fight with a gang of griffon bakers atop a crashing zeppelin. Or when she had to deliver a suit of new armor to Shining Armor in The Crystal Kingdom and was tailed by an immortal undead unicorn warlord who wanted to use the armor as a catalyst for his ghostly form. Or when she had to steal back a priceless gem from an Invincible Ancient Dragon Guardian on Black Skull Island so it could be delivered to Carousel Boutique in time for Rarity's fashion shoot. The point is, Poppy always seems to find herself in crazier and crazier situations.

But one thing always remains the same: Poppy ALWAYS makes her deliveries on time.

In ancient times, long before the land came to be known as Equestria, there was a kingdom known as the Dale. The only land still ruled by an Earth pony family, its first daughter, Princess Essenta, wishes for more than the dull life she was born into.

Sent on a fool's errand by her father, the king, she strives to not only succeed in it, but turn the world upside down as she goes along. With a growing company of dynamic--and dangerous--mares, she is well on her way to success with this.

Eight decades ago, the Centauri Kingdom landed its army on the shores of Vanhoover, in hopes of bringing Equestria to its knees and taking over the land. There, in Northwest Equestria, the 2nd Division of the "Clementine" Corps, 4th Equestrian Army stood as the first line of defense.

Prior to this state of war, Lt. Zip Jetscream was assigned to command the 3rd Platoon of the unblooded A Company, "Wild Rice" Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 2nd Division.

Split off from the division during the disastrous Retreat to the Galloping Gorge, Lt. Jetscream and his platoon flee south into the Unicorn Range. Until the rest of the 4th Equestrian Army and other Equestrian forces can assemble, they find they are the only thing between the Centauri Army and the fastest road to Canterlot.

Larkspur Blossom is an Earth pony colt. Having lost his mother, with his father distant, burying himself in work and other distractions, he takes care of his younger sisters, a Pegasus and a unicorn. Upon losing their father, they are shuffled around among family in Equestria. In Vanhoover he meets his best friend. A story of gain and loss, and growing up.

Pinkie Pie represents the element of laughter, but she isn't always so cheerful. She experiences depression, especially as a filly. Even now, she goes through unpredictable periods of extreme sadness. Or she would, at least, if it weren't for a certain mare. No pony besides Maud knows how often Pinkie Pie would fail to harness her element if it weren't for her. She provides Pinkie Pie with occasional doses of happiness disguised in the form of homemade cupcakes. The only downside is where she gets her main ingredient.
