Her attempt at a Sonic Rainboom. Failure. Crashes in the Everfree and lands next to the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters. Well just fly out, you may say. But guess what; her wing is torn.

Dash loses consciousness under the impact, but lastly sees a predator of the night. Guess what, it had fangs. Dash is a goner.

She wakes up though. However, she was not set free unchanged. And her hostage pony is still with her.

Regret is a wound that doesn’t heal properly. It leaves scar tissue. After gaining dubious acceptance from the ponies of Equestria, Tempest Shadow is now trying to reclaim herself. She lives, she works, she tries to be a good friend and a respectable citizen. But she is much more wounded than she has allowed herself to believe. A fleeting dream and a hazardous magical mishap will lead Tempest down a path that will take her to familiar places and the darkest reaches of Equestria. She must learn how to accept friendship into her heart, or succumb to the monster she used to be. Regret is a wound that cuts deep, and redemption might not be the strongest medicine.

After the defeat of the sirens by Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, and the Rainbooms, Twilight believed they would be rendered powerless normal human girls. When they return claiming to be starving to death without their song magic, will even Twilight Sparkle have it in her heart to let them back into Equestria to feed on the misery they must create? Seven hundred years ago, Princess Celestia lost her daughter to the human world. She went mad, deciding that humanity must pay. She crossed the dimensional veil and thus the Solar Tyrant began her war. She did the unthinkable, bringing Equestria to Earth, destroying one world in the process and nearly destroying another.

However, neither Princess Luna, the Bearers or their allies could stand for this and so they waged war against the Tyrant, quickly moving to aid humanity. Technology met magic, and somehow, humanity survived.

Now Sunset Shimmer has reincarnated...into a world full of chaos and strife. And the only way to end it is to kill the one responsible - her mother.
