There are only a few things worse than being a third wheel. One is being a fifth wheel. The other, which might be unique to Rarity's situation, is getting to see her own alternate universe counterpart having more luck with love than she ever had. Still, a vacation might help her get over her recent slump. A vacation... to Knife Edge Makeout Point!

A commission for Spamotron, and a lot of fun to write. Great person to write for, only positive things to say. The cover art is a minor edit from Bing's new Art AI.

DM me if you'd like your own commission!

EqG ponidox shenanigans AND monster hunting shenanigans, now that's a combo I can get behind.

Outstanding job, friendo.

Well...I feel like I should make a meddling kids line, but...uh...they kind of DID get away with it...or there was never anything to get away with, so...

Just so people are aware this is the last of a "thematic trilogy," I comissioned. The prompt I gave each time was:

Many watchers of EQG have observed that Applejack and Rarity’s behavior towards each other doesn’t come across as platonic. When the show was over multiple members of the staff admitted that they wrote the pair as girlfriends and it was Hasbro that wouldn’t let them give more than hints to the relationship. In the finale of FIM Applejack and Rainbow Dash are blatantly portrayed as an old married couple. To my knowledge no fanfic has ever explored these two things together.

It seems to me a fanfic exploring the Human AJ, Rainbow Dash and Rarity interacting with their pony counterparts could result in some interesting stories.

The other two authors I had explore this were MrNumbers and Silver Notes.

MagnetBolt took what most would interpret as a Drama or Slice of Life prompt and took it in an Adventure direction I never saw coming. It's a ton of fun. If I do say so myself as the comissioner.

Delightful bait-and-switch and fantastic exploration of the prompt that avoided stepping on the toes of either predecessor. Thank you for a gripping read.

why did the thumbnail remind me of that Gargor fanfic

I got that ScoobyDoo feeling and then you ripped it away, lol. This was a fun ride. Great campfire story even though I'm not near any campfires.

Don't know if that was a Schlock reference or not, but I still enjoyed it. :pinkiehappy:

Heh, a reverse Scooby Doo hoax, instead of someone posing as a monster to scare everyone away and steal a treasure, a real monster is scaring everyone away to protect them from the treasure :rainbowlaugh:

..... okay you got me. Was getting kind of "okay we ask know where this is going can we get on with it?" And then... A+ twist there, loved it!
