When is the next chapter coming out?

Finally, a serious take on the horror of depraved horny pony dimensions.

11766742
I know, right? The more you read, the more you go, "I don't want to be here."

A very interesting take and very bold of you to write about the bible. Originally i thought you were writing about the Peter in the scripture, i digress.

Normally i dont comments on story often but i dont now know if you are Christian, Jewish or whatever esle but if you are indeed Christian remember this passage

Revelation 22 18-19

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22:18‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[18] I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22:19‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[19] And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

Be careful but i like the take on it looking forward for updates on how you plan to do this.

small disclaimer: I am basing my critic to be unbias as possible regarding this story setting but considering from what I read it might have a small amount on it.

I won't say that I fully understand the premise of this story or its direction, but I feel that this story both its beginning and the 2 subsequent chapters were fucked in terms of pacing. Yes, I see the motivation on what drove the MC forward along with how they justified the motivation, however, I am unable to invest myself into both the story and the MC, with the background of the MC being either non-existent or too little detail to comprehend on except his recent plight it just confuses me to no end on his mindset, while the story just slow burns some points to something digestible before going to an explosive pace that I lost my understanding on this.

Biased opinion: Most stories that use a trope of 'kind man of vengeance' tend to put a bit more backstory to the MC and they tend to make it more gritty so a more evil-esque rather than just the religious kind of things. (Yes we as the reader understand the problems of such actions and why they are a sin but I felt that the character could have delved deeper into why such things are bad just to give it more impact on himself and the story.)

11767029
Ill have to agreed on this, it unnatural

11767030
Not unnatural per say (read my fair share of religious needs to punish sinner) Just that this needs a more of different approach than your regular stories.

11767016
Thank you for the encouragement! I am Christian; Latter-day Saint. And I'm doing my best to keep the story aligned with gospel principles. As aligned as this story can get, anyway.

Funny thing about those scriptures that I learned recently:

1. The Book of Revelation was not the last chronological book written by John. At least, it's highly unlikely.

2. The Christians added to scriptures; that was the whole point of the New Testament. Prophets add onto each other's words all the time.

3. The Bible didn't exist when those verses were written; they came about several hundred years afterward. Those verses are talking about the Book of Revelation.

Thanks for caring about me, though. It means a lot!

11767029
Okay, so more fleshing out Peter as he's going through these things. I'll see what I can do. Thanks for your thoughts!

This is amazing and funny in a dark comedy sort of way

I can't wait for when Peter turns the inhabitants of Ponyville into pillars of salt. Go Old Testament on them.

11769600
That is most certainly the idea I'm going for. I'm glad to know you're looking forward to it!

11769625
Oh! Interesting you are going toward a more old testament then the new testament? (Revelation)

Just a few question of course if it is a spoiler don't respond but,

Will you include the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse, Death, Famine, War, and Conquest?

By that same though are you also including the seven deadly sin personified, Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, Sloth

I mean there is lust that for sure.

Since it look like a apocalypse is there going to have the mark of the beast?

This is mostly from the book of revelation but in this scenario it seem appropriate.

Also i don't know what Peter is exactly here, a prophet? a savior? Because he got the power of Faust (God) but he isn't perfect or a extension of Faust like the holy trinity or Jesus. He is just a man.

In the end if we guess that Faust is just like God? What would their holy trinity?

Again if any question lead to spoiler don't bother answering even if i want too

Oh and if you haven't guess yet, yes i am christian and great chapter!

11769677
Peter's just a prophet. A tool in the hands of God. And it was explained that in other dimensions, there are different Gods, since anthro ponies aren't made in God's image. But since the title of God is given to perfect beings, by following one, you're by extension following the others. Jehovah is Jesus Christ-- he's the same God in the Old Testament as He was in the New.

There won't be four horsemen, or 7 deadly sins, but there will be warped versions of the Elements of Harmony.

Thanks for reading and enjoying!

11769722
Thank you for the clarification!

While i grew up as a Christian i always left it on the side until recently, still learning a lot right now.

11769625
I don't care how many sons i must sacrifice for the power to turn my enemies into pillars of salt. That is totally metal.:trollestia:

This was definitely one of the darker chapters. I feel bad for harry tho but i guess it was mercy.
And spike... Wtf? That got me, all of that is just horrible and you do a great job at displaying it!
I wonder if Celestia and Luna are better or worse... i hope they aren't like the rest of Equestria but who know...
I do hope some of them are able to repent... not sure if i went them tho, looking at the main 6...

So uh, is Peter gonna bring up what to do with the children with faust? The unborn? Cause these ponies have been doing the deed for years now so there has to be like a million new babys running all around the place, honestly I'm surprised none of the mane six have like 5-6 kids themselves already.

11772097
That'll get addressed. Great job thinking of that! I'd also point out that abortions exist here, so it would be the most likely option. When they lower themselves to the level of animals, they wouldn't flinch at killing the unborn.

11772186
One more thing. It was stated that this whole debauchery thing started simply because the ponies said 'why not?', right? And it only started a few years ago, right?

If so then does that mean Sombra could be a potential ally for Peter? I mean I know he a dark lord or whatever, but even he has to be going 'wtf' with the ponies, right?

11772216
Or perhaps Sombra could be seeing Peter's efforts and go, "What? I want to conquer the world, not destroy it!" And then fight back.

Also, it was implied this chapter that these thoughts were introduced into Equestria from a particularly evil source. We don't know who or what just yet. Still, it's an intriguing idea!

“It can always get worse,” Faust replied, looking down into her clasped hands. “Sexual sin is a wide umbrella. Adultery, bestiality, homosexuality, transgenderism, incest, and all other sorts of disgusting and abominable acts abound here. But it doesn't exist in a vacuum. Someone had to push it, and someone had to accept it. That requires pride, jealousy, and inaction. The sexual sins you see on display are a symptom of the underlying problem, which is an abandonment of my influence.”

I do hope that Faust isn't saying that homosexuality and transgenderism is wrong. Maybe it's a misunderstanding on my part? :unsuresweetie:

11774902
No, you read it right. Homosexuality and transgenderism is wrong.

11774944
So.. Are you saying men can't be with other men, and women can't be with other women?

Are you also saying people should always accept the gender they were born with? Even if that means some people would have to live with remaining uncomfortable in their own skin for the rest of their lives? :unsuresweetie:

11774982
Yes. :trollestia: Men can't be with men, or women with women, in the same depth and fulfillment as a real relationship. And this myth that you were born as a man in a woman's body is unequivocally false. Gender is an essential and unchangeable part of premortal, mortal, and post-mortal life. A man will never become a woman, no matter how hard he tries.

11774998
Brave for you to say! Totally agreed with you, Also great chapter as always.

It kinda sad i was reading this begging for Zecora to be a bit better but nope. At least she dead now... Good. That thing of her is fucked up.

Better to die standing then live kneeling in this world.

Dark stuff. I suspect the controversial subject matter is the reason for the upvote-downvote situation; I am fully aware of your personal beliefs on the topics presented, but I somehow doubt the LGBT section of the community will take too kindly to the story.

11778329
Yeah, I figured as much too. They will not tolerate criticism. But that's one reason why I made it.

11778426
Criticism and Advocating genocide are two very different things.

You've clearly had someone preach false versions of gods word into you ears and not had the opportunity to view truth. As a result This sickening fantasy of power and false vengeance has taken hold of your heart. Your burning straw-men not witches.

I'll pray for you.

Ignore the haters and trolls. You do you.

To answer the author note.

He has the potential to develop into a psychopath, given his questionable actions. However, his emotional responses indicate he isn't a psychopath yet. Ultimately, it's up to you to shape Peter's path and decide whether he lose himself or not.

On a other note about a previous comment i made.

The princesses are no better. Is there still hope? Because it sure doesn't look like it. Not even a little. There must be a sane guy somewhere, right? RIGHT?

Spare me your articles. The temptation to sin is not a sin. But actually committing the sin requires repentance. God asks no more of a gay man than He requires of a teenager, a widow, or a man who never marries-- to only have sex between a married man and woman.

Peter physically recoiled. It felt like he had been struck in the solar plexus. "What?!"

It would have been funnier if you said hit in his childhood

"No, Pinkie," Peter firmly said, pointing a finger. "This isn't the girl I know. You're better than this, you're deeper than this! I don't know what's gotten into this world or why, but this kind of behavior is something you need to fight. This is going to break you, Pinkie! If you're real, if this is really the pony I know, then please, keep up the fight and stand for something better than this!"

I find this hilarious cuz this was the equivalent of you going into a different country You have only heard about and saying everything about your country is wrong your culture your history your thought process is all wrong and I'm here to save you from how wrong you are I find out this part is the most funniest of the whole entire thing.

It actually made Peter clench his fists. This was the worst disrespect for Derpy that Peter could imagine! He suddenly felt sick to his stomach, and turned away from Derpy and began jogging more. No more would come out of the conversation anyway. Anyone would want to talk to her, sure, but not when she was like this!

Really the worst disrespect she has ever had.

How does apple bucking as a human work? Peter wondered. See, this is one of those things you don't think about when making Anthro content, dear people back on earth!

They pick it with their hands or they use their magic to kick the tree normally.

11785552
The writer went on a mission so I guess this story is speaking from experience lol

11785577
What do you mean the missing

11785582
I was a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for two years in San Bernardino, CA. It really helped solidify my faith in Christ and made me realize my true purpose in life: to post inflammatory but true content on the internet. (That's a joke. Mostly.)

I enjoyed the story it's pretty good but it suffers from in my opinion a humanistic standpoint of God.

An example is this conversation between God and the human God basically makes a statement the same a group of people do not belong to be here because I command it to be so. That's pretty much evil dialogue It doesn't make you feel like the god of this universe is a good person or separate of their people. It actually betrays the God to be monstrous and more like a devil.

The other odd thing is the power of this God in the world in human terms a God is all knowing all seeing in all powerful. But magic does not exist in the human world so most of those things can be accomplished with someone who's skilled enough in magic. So something that seems impressive to a human would not impress a pony. Like example bringing a human from a different dimension to Equestria that's not really impressive because someone like discord can do the same thing. It is a big problem already that this God is not all-powerful and their power relies on faith. And that there's creatures more powerful than the god means It doesn't have all power domain over the creatures of the planet which would not make it a true God.

Being honest if the god of this universe wanted to fix his problems all they would need to do is reveal themselves and cause a miracle that would fix the problem more than this convoluted plan the axle God came up with.

This part of the story confuses me even more but it's an easy fix God claims that the creatures lustful actions are going to destroy them but to our notice nothing has really changed in the world. Other than the sin they are committing there are no consequences for their actions then not starving they're not being blighted and there's no significant violence going on being honest the only person who really looks like a psychopath is the main character. On top of that it never explains why the property overwrites laws. Like rape And why does it only seem like the human is perceptible to this phenomenon. Be honest it's kind of written like an RPG game where you're the heroin and everyone's trying to fuck you.

11774998
Again you're suffering from a humanistic standpoint of God.
God doesn't decide fulfillment of the relationship is that is between the two people who are in their relationship. There's no difference between a 20-year relationship of a gay couple or a straight couple only the two people who are in the relationship at the end of the day gets to decide that.

If Christ actually had such a problem with queer folk, to the point he would expect them to deny themselves of their authenticity, culture, and lives so that they can look like his ideal image, then God would be no better than Adolf Hitler.

11785635
So? God wants to transform each of us into our perfect selves, me included. The things holding me back are just different from a gay man's, that's all. I promise you, the full blessings of heaven, including a family and eternal life, are available to all who deny themselves of all ungodliness and rely on the Atonement of Christ. You, me, a gay man, and Hitler (can't believe you'd pull out the Hitler card so early :rainbowlaugh:) each have the chance in the resurrection to become a perfect, almost unrecognizable self. If we really say, "That's just the way I am," when it comes to our favorite sins, it says that we're wanting to sin and call it psychology.

I must say, it is very refreshing to see divine standards portrayed on the internet. This story is like a breath of fresh air from all the degeneracy on this site and for that I thank you. It takes guts to put this out there where it's sure to be heavily frowned upon. Nice work shining like a city on a hill!

I do have two points of interest in regards to the narrative.

Firstly, I find myself immensely curious with regards to Peter's character. More specifically, why it is he needs to be here doing all of this. Yes, God has cleansed the earth when it became too filthy in--presumably--terrible, gruesome ways before, but--at least as far as I know--there has never had to be a single prophet to carry all of it out themselves. This isn't a flaw or a criticism I'm pointing out, it's more that I'm wondering why exactly Peter needs this sort of trial. The mission he's been sent on has proven to be traumatic and gory, so what is it about him that necessitates it? I'm hoping this gets answered as we learn more about who he is.

Secondly, I have one hope for the future of this story, unlikely though it may be: I want to see at least one person actually heed the warnings and repent. I realize this is a vent fic of sorts showing God's divine retribution for all the sins of the world, but I'd love to see His--or, Faust's, I suppose--mercy be shown also. I'm hoping Equestria doesn't turn out to be like Sodom and Gomorrah in that way. I'm hoping one pony--and I don't even care who--listens and turns back to God.

Granted, I don't know exactly how the repentance process works in this Equestria. Whether there's a Redeemer like Christ and it's a 1:1 replica of the Plan of Happiness or some other way. I just know that, if Faust really is perfect like Elohim, then She'll have prepared a way for Her children to repent. I'd love to see that there is always a way back, even after the horrors of this world.

Those are my main thoughts. Well done on this, author! I especially appreciate how you're keeping it mostly open to all Christians rather than just our faith. The world needs more material like this to spread our standards and I do feel slightly guilty for not contributing in that regard. Let us continue to gather Israel, eh?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints holds a different perspective on the matter and standards to match. Please bear with me as I do my utmost to explain them in an inoffensive manner. Above all, Christlike love extends to everyone, regardless of if they agree, and I will try my hardest not to incite rage or indignation. I ask that we all keep open minds in this matter and try to see the other side, rather than mindlessly argue back and forth. I hope above all that we can be civil and treat everyone with the respect that all children of God deserve.

That said, I will proceed to explain the following perspectives, speaking as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints:

Transgenderism:

We believe that identity is a crucial part of who we are. Moreover, we believe that everyone who lives and has ever lived on earth has a divine identity that cannot be changed. We believe that our spirits have existed for far longer than the world or even the preexistence--that some form of intelligences have always been around even before they were given shapes. Gender has been a part of this identity--this intelligence--forever. Since God is perfect, He never makes mistakes, and would never put us in the wrong body by accident. He would never do it on purpose, either, for He wants us to know our identities perfectly. We believe that gender dysphoria is an aspect of mortal life and that the way people think about themselves may change throughout their time on this planet. The most important thing to remember is that we are children of Heavenly parents, whom we can always turn to with questions and requests.

You can go here for more information about this.

Homosexuality:

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints upholds a specific commandment called the Law of Chastity. It's fairly straightforward, but has a lot of implications. It requires that "sexual relations be reserved for marriage between a man and a woman". God has commanded us to save the sacred power of procreation only for a married couple of opposite genders. Why this is, there are reasons and many speculations, one of which I'll delve into, but the point is that this is our core belief.

We believe that families are a central, crucial, absolutely essential part of Heavenly Father's plan for us. Furthermore, the roles of parents are firm and divinely upheld. As stated in The Family, a Proclamation to the World (linked here if you're curious--I do recommend you give it a read): "...fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children." Gay couples--and I say this as gently as I can--are simply incapable of fulfilling these roles and, by extension, having families that satisfy the Lord's plan for us.

You can read here for more on this topic.

I sincerely hope that explaining these perspective has not wrought anger or distress. Above all, we must treat everyone with love and respect, even if they don't agree or give us only malice in return. The policies of our church do not prevent and in fact encourage members to treat others with Christlike kindness. That said, we also cannot condone, support, or otherwise 'be on the side of' these communities, as, in our eyes, that would be rebellion against God.

I hope this all makes some amount of sense. If anyone has questions, I'll do my best to provide answers, so long as everyone involved remains civil. I'll be honest: I really dislike confrontation and hate. It's a bit of a stretch past my comfort zone to put this out there, but, well, I've been more or less inspired by the author writing this story. I figure the least I can do is provide some clear explanations on things.

The website I've linked has answers to just about anything with regards to our church as well. Feel free to browse it for further information.

I think that's everything. God be with you all!

11793568
Ooh perfect someone to answer these questions. Then I have a question I would like to ask. Do you agree with mass murder if it's in the name of God?

11793568

Faust folded her arms and flattened her ears. "Don't try to counsel me on heavenly law. Is it not also written that murderers and adulterers must be punished? Is it not written that the will of God must be obeyed? You truly become a hypocrite when you say you will follow me, but then shirk at a task that must be done. I will ask nothing of you that Elohim would not. Would there be any objections if Elohim demanded this?"

Let's bring up another point. This is not God. At least not our God. This is a creature claiming to be god the almighty so it's a false prophet. It claims to be holy or the holy and it wants the main character to kill its children. For it it's purposes. The level of sacrileges going on in this one part alone raises my eyebrow to the notion that this is a story about god.

Matthew 7:15 says, "For no man can unfold prophetic meaning, but the Spirit of prophecy. The Lord then knowing that there should be false teachers, warns them of divers heresies, saying, Take heed of false prophets".

On top of that the story is not using religion. The benefit the story. It's using it as an excuse to commit atrocities or to let the main characters actions seem reasonable.

11793655
Dude, have you even read the Old Testament? Jehovah is Jesus Christ, and he's said both "Thou shalt not kill" and "Thou shalt utterly destroy." God reserves the right to slay the wicked, whether directly or indirectly.

11793650
Since we have the Book of Joshua, yes.
