Trixie got one vote, but she is ineligable for this fic. Twilight Velvet and Spitfire got one vote each, which ties with their half vote from them having been mentioned before. Lightning Dust, Cheerilee, and Maud Pie each got one full vote. And Cadence received one vote, but having been done in the original story she is ineligable on her own. So it's a tie between Twilight Velvet and Spitfire. But since the vote mentioned Twilight Velvet as the first choice and Spitfire as the second choice, Twilight Velvet will be the character starring in the next chapter.
You know it would be fun if you did Spitfire and/then Lightning Dust next.
Specifically Spitfire doing it to help her get over her issues with children which I vaguely remember reading a comic about.
And a mentally regressed Lightning Dust who accidentally broke into the castle after a messed up stunt and her causing a lot of damage running from the guard. It would be extra funny if Lightning Dusts' reward was not have pictures of her in cute baby outfits distributed all over Equestria so long as she tells no pony.

Cheerilee, Maud Pie, and Moondancer were mentioned in previous rounds but got no votes here, so all of them have one full vote.
So Spitfire wins and will be the focus of the final chapter of 2023. Once her chapter is published, voting will get underway for the first chapter of 2024.

This is just a reminder that you're free to vote for any characters you want that have not already been done, or are not ineligable due to the rules. The first tiebreaker was between Cheerilee and Maud Pie, seeing as they got their votes later than Moondancer: Heads was for Cheerilee and tails was for Maud Pie, best two of out three. Maud Pie won. The second tiebreaker was between Moondancer and Maud Pie: Heads was for Moondancer and tails was for Maud Pie, best two out of three. Maud Pie won. So Maud Pie will be the character of focus for the February chapter. Moondancer and Cheerilee will retain their two votes from this session, as will Lyra (with Bon Bon) who got one vote.
