Oh, this was nice to read on the eve of hearth’s warming eve. 🥹

Had to see what kind of story this picture was being used for.

The same feels that have always gotten me, but themed for the holidays. Love the imagery of Celestia at the door in a blizzard with debris stuck to her horn, coming to dinner half by surprise.

Not to mention, simply by having Spike share a family scene with Velvet, this fic treated Spike with more respect than the show did in nine seasons. I always love to see that!

Velvet nodded, the smile on her face somewhat strained, probably because she was in the process of imagining how Twilight's room in the castle looked at the moment and if she should send the castle staff some sort of apology.
“I see…” Velvet managed to say, picking up the pile of glitter with paper in it somewhere very carefully.

Even being super bright can't stop Twilight from being a naive little foal.
