This Was A Waste of Time
"So, you are an alien that just so happens to understand how games in Equestria are played because they resemble the games from your home world?" Parchment Chop asked inquivitely.
Damien shook his head yes as he rubbed his hand against his eyes. The reporter's question were extremely annoying. They ranged from harmless to straight up offensive but Damien was curious about how this article was going to turn out. He looked in the corner of his eye and Rainbow Dash was asleep with more drool coming out of her mouth. Some bodyguard she turned out to be.
"I find that very hard to believe. Are you are you aren't a scientist experiment gone wrong?" Parchment Chop said.
"Yes." Damien started while stretching his legs and shaking Rainbow Dash. "I'm not an experiment, just a passerby."
Rainbow Dash woke up from Damien's rough shake and leaped up from her chair striking a pose.
"WHO,WHAT,WHERE,HOW"!? Rainbow Dash yelled looking frantically around the room.
Damien rolled his eyes. "Dash." He started. He looked back at the reported with annoyance. "Please excort our guest out of the house. I am very tired."
Parchment Chop closed her interview book and shook her mane.
"I believe this interview is over then?"
"Yeah, it's getting dark and after all these questions, I'm ready to just sleep."
Parchment Chop huffed and mumbled about wanting more questions but followed behind Rainbow Dash to the door. She mentioned her column in the Manehattan Inquirer and to be sure to look out for the interview. With that final piece of information, she left.
Once she was far away from Damien's house, he shut the door. Rainbow Dash sheepishly looked at Damien rubbing her hooves together.
"I know, I know, I messed up," she said. "But, I can make it up to you!" Rainbow Dash said walking up to Damien with a smile. Damien frowned.
"Dash, today has been fine already. I get it those questions were boring but I need to clear my head. I'm not mad and you don't need to make it up to me."
"Really?"
"Yes, you multicolor pony fucking leave me alone!" Damien screamed internally.
Agreeing to this interview was a mistake, it did nothing but bring up Damien's friends and family he might never see again and remember how insanely sexist the culture here was.
Damien took a deep breath and forced a smile.
"Dash, I am fine."
Rainbow Dash could tell something was bothering him. Her Element of Loyalty genes were going off. But she could tell he was tired, so she decided to save it for another day. She waved goodbye and left.
Damien walked to his room and flopped on the bed. He started to recount the last two days and how insane they were. Fighting game competition that went to hard and a reporter who wanted to exploit him for a story.
Damien turned into his side and thought back at the arcade. Despite the circumstances, he did have a bit of fun. He additionally made a bit of a name for himself apparently if someone from Manehattan come from Ponyville to interview him. Not matter how unpleasant she was.
Damien closed his eyes and let sleep embrace him. Maybe he would go back to the arcade after all.

I don't actually know which characters are in Marvel vs Capcom, I haven't really played fighting games.
Please finish the story at least.
I included some characters that already exist in the series as comicbook characters. My choices of cast was based on the character I find most iconic or classic to X-men vs Street Fighter & Marvel vs Capcom. Keep in mind I've just played these games with buddies, none of us went in-depth as to the game mechanics. So the lineup may be unbalanced, I have no idea either way.
Also, I tried to use more creatures than just ponies for the lineup.
The X-Dudes: They fight for the equality of stallions & males everywhere. Stopping subjugation and so forth. (Since the other countries are so different from Equestria, is it only Equestria that has this outdated mentality towards males?)
1. Icemane (A unicorn stallion that can transmute himself into an ice form & produce blasts of frost to freeze opponents or ice constructs.)
2. Gamebit (Game Token+Bit, Gambit, Pegasus pony stallion.)
3. Magenet(Mage+Magnet, Magneto, Earth pony stallion)
4. Scrappy(A male Caninian, diamond dog based on a brown great dane, super soldier granted extended youth & claws that can cleave a diamond like a warm knife through butter.)
Marble Comic's (Intentional with calling it Marble, it suits pony silliness.)
1. Captain Farasi (Zebra super soldier stallion from Farasi)
2. Bronze-Mare (Bronze horse reference, Iron-Man. Unicorn playfilly. Like Twilight with Rainbow & Trixies attitudes combined mixed with Starlight's arrogance.)
3. Flashfire (A female dragon comic book hero from IDW MLP Friendship Forever comic #14. Replacement for Phoenix.)
4. Saddle Rager (Power Pony equal to Hulk, respectively.)
Road Rumbler
1. Spring Beauty (Chun-Li kirin mare. Chun-Li's name means Beautiful Spring. Plus she jumps around so the name works.)
2. Noble Flow (Ryu kirin stallion. Ryu's name has several meanings, noble & flow are two of them.
3. Pink Echo (A pony mare version of Dan Hibiki. Jokes should follow on their own. Dan's last name means echo.)
4. Moonstar (Lyra version of M. Bison, who was original known as Vega which is the the brightest star in the constellation Lyra. The coincidence was too good to pass up. The name I suggested comes from a moon & star hybrid in an 80s cartoon, Silverhawks. In story explanation? Maybe one of the game creators did it as revenge for a horrible date with Lyra? I've heard worse or lazier reasoning for a characters creation in a game.)
HOUCON (CAPCOM means CAPsule COMputer so HOUOCON means HOUsing CONsole.)
1. Mecha Mane (Mega Man, stallion robot.)
2. MewMew (A female Abyssinian based on Felicia and maybe the pokemon Mew. And yes, Abyssinian names can get this... "simple".)
3. Morgue Shrewd (Queen Chrysalis & female changelings before reformation version of MorganAensland. Her name is a play off of Morgan's first name & the meaning of her last name.)
4. Biscuit (Roll, mare robot.)
Great to see you back! And impressive that you write it even when your interest in MLP has declined. Maybe it'll return in the future... Regardless, grats on your graduation, and good luck with the job hunt :)
As always, fun chapter! You'd think he'd have maybe adjusted to the culture after a few years... Ah well, we've got an interesting setup ahead with this article. I look forward to seeing the next chapter, if it does materialize
