Got my attention as Dinky is my favorite background filly. A good story but i still feel deeply pity and sorry for her

Ooh! Two in one! Looking forward to this.

Y'know, when I read And Hell Followed, it was like going through a nightmare that looked like it would never end but ended with a somewhat hopeful note. This fic took that hope and destroyed it into pieces with the weight of an amalgamation of the two worst nightmares I have seen on FiMFic. The scenery is just as vivid as the originals. The description draws the readers into the horrors of the everlasting madness of the Factory, just like the original Rainbow Factory. While expected without a lot of twists, the plot is still straightforward enough to deliver the horrors of Pegasi supremacism to the readers.

Overall, great work, and thanks for writing this short sequel to And Hell Followed!

Always a pleasure to work with you, I enjoyed reading this despite the themes.

Good luck!

fuck...

FUCK

Thank you for your entry! We look forward to reading it, and best of luck.

The future of Equestria was already looking bleak after "And Hell Followed," but now the future looks hopeless. The unicorns don't trust the pegasi or the earth ponies because they fear the two groups still hold them responsible for becoming monsters and killing a lot of their kind. The pegasi don't trust the unicorns because of what was previously stated and they look down on the other races due to pegasi supremacy. The earth ponies don't trust the unicorns due to most of the earth pony population being wiped out by what the unicorns became. The Equestrian government is trying to keep Equestria united and help ponies, but they appear to be failing if what happened to Dinky (a foal) is common.

If word gets out about what the pegasi in this story did, those divisions between the pony races will get much worse. And if word gets out that Twilight played a BIG role in causing the unicorns to transform into monsters, that will be the final nail in the coffin. The Equestrian government would probably collapse and any authority the princesses had during this time would be gone. Things would probably go back to the way they were before the three races got along. Cherilee might get a good ending despite all of this, but I doubt Equestria as a whole will have a good ending too. If Equestria does have a good ending, it would be an amazing comeback.

I don't know about any of you, but I'm VERY excited to see what is coming up in this world.

Also, do you want Windigoes?

'cause that's how you get Windigoes

Damn I really liked the last story but Rainbiw Factory is just such a dumb concept.

I think the original story can be a bit barebones but the sequels do so much for the concept and really do it justice.

It really just doesn't make sense is what I mean. Like, it doesn't align with what ponies are in the slightest.

I have a feeling this will end better for Equestria than it did in the main saga. And by better I mean brutal but nipping this genocide in the bud with the fitting words

"Kill them all. Let Faust sort them out."

Never really was a fan of Rainbow Factory. It just seemed like a huge piece of Grim-Derp. The idea that unicorn foals are rounded up and used for some nefarious purpose? Dark and amazing. The idea that its to grind them up for rainbows? Ugh.... nevermind.

Yeah, that's fair. It's not really a part of the universe that I'm gonna double back on in the future I don't think, but I set it up in the epilogue of AHF and the contest was a perfect reason to capitalize on it.

Thanks for reading tho

Wow
I read The Rainbow Factory quite recently, and this somehow makes the concept even more upsetting.
hhhhhhh

I agree with comments above. The world building that capitalize on unicorns being shunned or better actively prosecuted is nice. I like that you show the new world through the lens of a young foal, who needs to find a way to survive. The thing is, I'm not a fan of Rainbow Factory, nor do I think it suits the world. Still I give it a like

I have such mixed feelings about this.

On one hand it's a continuation of And Hell Followed which I loved and gives us a view on the discrimination that would have no doubt risen up after what happened.

On the other hand, Rainbow Factory is such an inherently goofy premise that I can't take this story anywhere near as seriously as I want too.

That's not to say it's poorly written, it isn't, but once we got to the actual Factory I couldn't help but roll my eyes and skim the rest because I already knew what was going to happen. Rainbow Factory just doesn't fit in the world you created before, at least in my opinion.

...so when are the windigos coming in? cause oh boy. the hatred here seems ripe for them.

Nicely written, and rather chilling. Guess they didn't get their blood drive (I recall they asked for it in And Hell Followed epilogue) and went kinda over the hedge. Sadly, it's understandable given their predicament.

That should happen in another sequel!

It's well written. I liked it. Never really liked Rainbow Factory but this was fine.
