Well, I did warn readers the new Spike series would get weirder/crazier than the last, although I've tried to escalate each tale a bit at a time rather than throw in all the insanity at once.
I mean the last one had Discord and the princesses do some pretty crazy stuff, but as for why Luster can? I'll try to expand more later, but for now we know she was a member of the Coven (Powerful witches) and apparently a vengeful ghost...

Wasn't trying to. Just find it weird that Luster Dawn of all Ponies became a Sea Witch/Angry Spirit, and now a Giant "Sea Goddess" into one??!! And like I said, I can't take her seriously if she is fully naked and all. Like Hentai, and all. Not that I'm against it! Just that it probably shouldn't be mixed with the life and death situation that Spike and his Pirate "Friends/Allies" are at here.

I mean, this is a porn/fetish series, so saying it's like hentai is kind of expected. I've tried to mix in some character development and lore, as porn with a plot is my favorite kind. MLP is inherently a silly concept imo, so taking it ultra seriously wouldn't work for me. I've always seen it as a sitcom with adventure elements.

I was thinking more intuition, as she's his sidekick and has an idea of how he thinks. (They're both displaced from their worlds, but unlike him she can return home at her leisure and sympathizes with him.)

1) I'd never thought I'd see a giantess fetish in this series. While it's not really my thing, I enjoyed the chapter regardless.
2) That brings up an interesting question: Why and how did Torch disappear after abdicating?

1. Usually it's a fetish I'm fairly neutral to, but I find almost anything can be enjoyable to me in the right context.
2. I figure Torch took off to distant, unexplored territory, bored and restless after centuries of responsibility. Sure, he gets laid constantly, but it comes at a heavy price!
A triumph for diplomacy... though if Luster ever hears about any backsliding from those five, no one will enjoy the results. Unlike what she's about to do to Spike.
