This story is a sequel to This Is Gonna Be A Blast!

In the midst of a week-long rainstorm, Rainbow Dash halfheatedly wishes the rain would go away, which ends up provoking Applejack. Rainbow Dash tries to assure her that her wish wouldn't make anything happen.

Then the rainstorm disappears.

With Applejack blaming her for the sudden heatwave, Rainbow Dash's only chance to save herself (and possibly the town) is to bring on a cloudburst.

Which is tricky as she doesn't know how to.

A relaunch of my story. I had continuously tweaked it until I was satisfied, but by then, nobody was looking at it. Hopefully, it'll attract attention this time!

A fun little story! I like that you added in the idea that they can use other Equestrian magic, like their pegasus weather manipulating magic (for Fluttershy and Rainbow), and not just using their Elements. It does make sense that, to some extent, they should be able to utilize unicorn / pegasus / earth pony Equestrian magics of their respective counterparts.
Poor Rainbow Dash at the end though lol; I honestly thought the whole time that she did have something to do with the sudden heat wave.

"Which is tricky as she doesn't know how to."

She could just go through the mirror and ask Pony RD how she does it...

This reminds me of another story that was published last month. Same story, only the ending is different.

Well, she didn't know she could manipulate clouds until Sunset told her.

Uh, it might've been the original version which I deleted after all my tweaks meant nobody would look at it.

If not, what's the title?

Ya now that I remember I think it was your story.

"Go right ahead" Twilight as she briefly looked up "You're not disturbing me. I'm just doing a little light reading".

Well, Twilight and Hermione have the same definition of 'light reading'.:rainbowlaugh:
