The girls find themselves split into teams of 2 (with one group of 3) as they must successfully take care of a "fake" baby doll - with the need to be fed, changed, burped - and oh did I mention cry? These babies need to have been properly taken care of, lest they receive a failing grade.
Of course, perhaps there's more to this assignment than meets the eye...
How will these groups of girls deal with the concept of being parental figures?
What discoveries will these new families make about each other along the way?
Will pre-established and new-found bonds be formed or shattered? Regardless, these teenagers are going to learn the ups and downs of parenthood, one way or another.

I've got a few mixed feelings about Mr. Frenette showing up delivering pizza. On the one hand the "teaching pays jack" was a little too on the nose. On the other hand, it was kinda jarring and felt a bit like a deus ex machina. Not enough to pull me out of the story, but it did feel a little contrived.
Still, overall a very cute chapter.

In all seriousness, I can definitely see both sides. I wanted to make the story have both characters' motivations and actions be believable and for each side to have a decent argument. It's a realistic relationship issue where both sides have a point (besides I wanted to see what the readers like you thought...)

Rarikack is overused and overrated. FlutterPie you don't see a lot of. Same with RariDash. They exist of course. But not nearly as often as some ships.

So, I'm curious: do you go into a lot of stories that features a ship you don't like in order to complain or do you only make "your OTP is trash and ruined the story" comments when a fic saves the ship reveal for the story rather than the description? Neither is good, but the first is much worse and... well, I would assume it's the second... but I've seen shipping pictures on Derpibooru where half or more of the comments are "Who the hell likes this ship?!" or "This ship is dumb, this other one is so much better" and, well, those are pictures and it's hard to assume they caught anyone by surprise.
Tangential-at-best gripes aside... look, I sympathise with your point of view, believe me. There's no shortage of ships I feel anything from apathy to hatred towards and I don't enjoy it when a story goes into them. But, ultimately, when that happens? I just shrug, say 'oh well' and move on. I don't tell them their story is bad because of it because, to be blunt, it isn't my place or yours to tell people what they should and shouldn't write and who they should and shouldn't ship.
In the end, it's all a matter of taste and preference. And also, the whole reason ships become 'overused' and 'cliche' is because a lot of people like them. If they didn't enjoy shipping them and think they were good to put in a story or picture, they wouldn't be 'overused' in the first place. Yeah, there are many popular, perhaps overused ships I dislike, but I'm not going to say no one should be shipping them, nor that they probably don't have plenty of things to do with them.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all in favour of underutilized, obscure or 'crack' ships and I love it when I see such people take such ships and try to take them seriously, but that doesn't mean I'm offended by people not doing that. People are getting enjoyment from something I can't and I'm honestly happy for them. They can do it as much as they like and I'll just do them the courtesy of leaving them alone.
TL:DR - People like something you don't like. Get over it.
