This story is a sequel to Scootaloo's First Friend

Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle have just become friends, and Sweetie Belle immediately settles on the idea of having a sleepover at Scootaloo's place. After a little bit of reluctance, the filly agrees.
For Sweetie Belle, this is her opportunity to not only find out where her new friend lives, but also who her parents are. Scootaloo, on the other hoof, is just focused on throwing a good sleepover since it's her first one.
But things will go in an unexpected direction, especially since both fillies still don't know each other that well yet.

Adorable friendshipping here. Though I wonder. If at the same time Apple Bloom is having friendship moments with Twist? Considering they were friends before the CMC.
9760743 I don't know if Apple Bloom and Twist really hung out. It seems like Apple Bloom only truly noticed Twist when she thought they both didn't have cutie marks in "Call of the Cutie".

Your description of Scoots' parents helped me a lot, too. Never did get a good image of them in my head. The downside of not being physically able to see Season 7 through present.
I think you did great in getting Scoots and Sweetie together. You can see how they became pals prior to meeting Apple Bloom. Very cool way to get these two going as friends before the fateful moment in "Call Of The Cutie".
