Applejack's home has many extra rooms, but one is a bit more special than the rest. A tiny guestroom sits right above her bed, with an open trap door in between. Perfect for late-night chats when the thoughts are too loud for sleep.
People with nowhere to go, or no one else to talk to. Friends in need of support, and enemies in need of friends. They all find their way to that guestroom. Applejack is the rock of the group, and that won't be changing anytime soon.
...That's the plan, anyway.

Yay, new Sunset fic from you! The period between EQ1 and 2 always interests me, especially the various interpretations for Sunset's rather drastic personality shift. Well, we saw her post-friendship laser at the end of the first movie, but I like the details of her integrating with the Humane Six.
This could work as a standalone fic too, if it weren't for the incomplete tag, and Applejack's various hints about something. Looking forward to more.
