Adagio does not change immediately. It takes Sunset time and understanding to see the wounded girl within.

My best compliments for this story. Despite being a fan of SciSet, I really enjoyed this story. You've been really good. Another thing that pleased me and the same sorrow was the hint at the PieNata: Pleasure because with Sciset is the pairing that I worship most, sorry because it was just a hint (also understandable by the fact that this Story has been written for "Oroboro's Changing Season contest") and stories with Pinkie and Sonata protagonists of Romantic Fiction among them I have not found so many. For the rest I can only say great work!

oh, thank you so much!! yes, sunlight/sciset is my other otp haha;;; and pinkie is my fav to ship with sonata, i think! i really would like to write something for them someday too :twilightblush:

Cute little one shot about Adagio's life after Rainbow Rocks. :ajsmug:

You mean Sciset?

8381514
yeayea, lol ive been around since b4 scitwi was the nickname so i always mix up the name for it hahaha

This was nice. Well-handled Sundagio is surprisingly rare, and even if we only got snippets of it, it felt like Adagio came around on her own rather than being forced or browbeaten into being a 'good' person this time, which makes the connection feel a lot more sincere.

other than that good story

I mean she did get it wrong in the movie lol. Im also asuming it was the beginning of the year so once they went into calculus nd stuff adagio could help hahaha

And thanks for commenting!

8383234
yes she got a super advanced math problem wrong and was only slightly off

8383266
oh i thought it was like, grade 11 math, and theyre in grade 12? Thats what it looked like to me lmfao Since theyre under a time crunch and all theyd probs get a slightly easier problem. anyways, cant change it now!!! lol its nice to have someone notice little details like that tho

I must admit Adagio never struck me as much of a math person, so that was a little jarring, but there’s probably some sort of rationalization out there (And the idea popped into my head that she doesn’t care too much for it herself but has quite a bit of aptitude and picked it up when she realized Sunset might need help, which may or may not have any connection to what you wrote, but it’s an adorable image, so I’m sticking with it :rainbowkiss:).

Apart from that, can’t really complain. It’s a little simplistic for my tastes, but I think you did what you were trying to do quite well and I adore your writing style. Thanks for taking the time to share it!

hey thanks so much!

Enjoyable little fluff piece. There don't seem to be enough of those anymore.

ahh, thank you very much!

I really enjoyed this. I thought the ending was a little abrupt, and would've liked to see it go on at least a little long (or even better, a lot), but this was wonderful. If only there were more stories shipping these two.

This was quite cute! Very nice work!

When the leader of the Dazzlings - Aria? Adagio? - sang that one note even higher than Princess Twilight, it sent shivers down her spine and fear as cold as ice into her heart.

It was Adagio. :ajsleepy:

(She had no idea why the magic decided to let her ‘pony up’. She didn’t deserve it.)

I still question it myself even 8 years after the movie came out. Like, why did hasbro do it. I don't have a problem with it, but I still question it from time to time. :applejackunsure:

What had they done?

You girls had no choice. It had to be done. :fluttershysad:

Adagio noticed Sunset’s look and averted her eyes. “We sold a few things. It’s enough, for now.”

https://m.

So that’s it , Sunset thought to herself. I don’t see you for almost four months, and now I might have to see you every day? I mean, yeah, I was worried, but isn’t this a bit much?

Too much if you ask me. :ajbemused:

The summer fell into a sort of routine - get woken up by Sonata, get ready, and wake up Aria and Adagio before they slept the day away (the former had the couch, while Sonata and Adagio shared the other bed they’d purchased and placed in the corner of Sunset’s room. She didn’t mind). Then, once they’d all had breakfast together, they’d go their separate ways.

Seems to me they gave up on finding a new place to live. Making it both better and harder for Sunset to deal with at the same time. :duck:

“Wrong,” she said, and slid the paper back over so Sunset could furiously erase part of her notes. “You used sine instead of cosine .”

What? :applejackconfused:

And then the moment was gone as Adagio leaned past her to point a finger at her paper. “You’re using the wrong function again. Honestly, have you been listening to a word I’ve said?”

And here I thought she was about to kiss her. :facehoof:

Afterwards she read beside Sunset while they put on a movie - it was Sonata’s turn, so they were watching The Little Mermaid for the nth time. Not that Sunset minded, for it allowed her to pretend to doze while she watched Adagio through a crack in her eyelids.

ninth*

(Not that she would ever, ever say that out loud, lest one of her friends find out.)

Do they even know they're living in Sunset's apartment?!? :twilightoops:

“Um, duh.” Snorting, Aria leaned back in her chair. “I mean, yeah, she was pretty pissed with you right after the battle, but I think she knows that you never wanted this to happen.” She took a sip of her drink and continued, “Plus, you’ve helped us out a lot. She appreciates it, in her own Adagio-y way.”

Huh, never thought I'd hear that from Aria. :pinkiegasp:
