Who am I? Why, I'm just a passing through Kamen Rider... Got it memorized?

E

Who could have imagined that such a beautiful underground oasis could not only be located so close to Ponyville, but that it had remained undiscovered until now?

Very unlikely, actually, as Maud soon learns that her new home comes with some... prior tenants.

Inspired by a comment from NodoubtbuodoN. So this is partially his fault too.

This is not complete.

Head cannon accepted.
This is just way to fun to not to be true :pinkiehappy:

Now this would have been a good follow up to the episode and a way to bring back the dogs.

Follow up: Rarity visits Maud. Diamond Dogs see both of them. Diamond Dogs dig far, far away.

Um. The diamond dogs appear to be entirely in the right in this case.

Yup. Maud here is an squatter who has the nerve of kicking out the rightful owners out of the house, which makes the Dogs Designated Villains at worst.

I also remember questioning Pinkie's need for a backdrop when taking Maud and Starlight's photo. You had a perfectly good one right there, you silly pony!

Poor doggies...

i agree, it could be made into a longer comedy about Maud's interactions with the diamond dogs, it does make an ok one shot though. I just feel that it could be expanded on.

Classic pony imperialism in action :p

One might ask where the umbrella came from. Answer: she’s a Pie. Props just happen.

Though the diamond dogs are as much squatters as Maud considering they don't actually own the grotto, they use it but unlike their tunnels it is a natural formation well as natural as you can get in a land where small horses control the animals and weather, which at worst makes the diamond dog disgruntled and selfish neighbors considering they tried to make a natural formation exclusively theirs, Maud had every right to make part of the grotto her place of residence and she didn't break any of the diamond dog's bones so yeah

Even if they didn't build the grotto they were first.
Possession is nine-tenths of the law.

Which would me Maud had every right to do what she did

It may be natrual and maud may have set up without knowing they where there, but you can't blame them or be mad at them for defending their territory that they'd already taken.

Oh those poor pups. You'd think Rarity would've been enough lesson hahaha.

Definitely would've been funny to have seen this expanded as others have said but it works well as a one shot too. n_n
